Following his recent "Salt & Sea" release on our imprint, Australian musician Approaching Black is back with a stunning new EP, "Let You," featuring three outstanding progressive and deep house cuts.

The title cut takes off with an elegant and firm groove, accompanied by lush background synths and smooth piano notes. After a signature Approaching Black bassline subtly enters the mix, a unique and memorable main lead emerges, brilliantly accompanied by a gorgeous female vocal stem.

In "Want You," the listener is quickly transported into a brilliant soundscape, consisting of blissful pad layers, intriguing bassline notes, and frisky percussion elements. In the break, captivating vocals are at play, while delicious piano notes play a wonderful theme.

Taking things down a notch, "A Thorn Amongst Roses" features an outstanding and truly hypnotizing atmosphere, in which both beautiful saxophone notes, lush background pads, subtle piano melodies, and distinctive sound effects take the listening experience to a higher level.

Marking our 60th release here on Emergent Shores, we are truly proud to finally bring you the fully remixed 'Visions LP' from stand out Emergent Music veteran Andrew Lang.

Having been a true name stay at Emergent Music, as well as our lead audio engineer for our 3 imprints, we were more than honored to showcase Andrew's masterful collection of original productions last year here at Emergent Shores. Now, we are equally as excited to bring you that same album, this time remixed by 10 standout Emergent Artists which includes the likes of: South Pole, Sedi, Roman Prus, Makaseo, Lesh, Jettan, Ryan Z, Jeef B, Zuubi and Cairn, all of which delivered some truly stand-out remixes that brought a whole plethora of variation to an already varied album to begin with.

Making this our first fully remixed artist album to date, we are proud to bring you Andrew Lang's opulent 'Visions LP [The Remixes]'.

Approaching Black's "Dusk," the Australian phenom's debut artist album, was one of the highlights of our release schedule last year. Featuring emotive textures and evolving soundscapes, the two-part album represented the pinnacle of our vision of forward-thinking electronic music. We are thrilled to return to 'Dusk' through the lenses of four extraordinary talents on our roster: Forerunners, Movement Machina, Sundriver, and label newcomer Lar Gibbons. These artists bring their unique touch, ranging in style from peak-hour progressive to downtempo-influenced deep house, to several of the standout tracks on the album.

With a special talent for composing, sophisticated, deep, and atmospheric progressive and trance, Illias does not disappoint with this year's contribution, "Evolution." The tune begins with a deep bassline, chunky groove, and pensive, after-hours melodic texture. We are soon met by a hypnotic, celestially-inspired lead. Perhaps our "evolution" can only lead us beyond the confines of Earth? Adding to the brooding, contemplative atmosphere are heavily processed, breath-like female vocal stabs, which extend deep into each "phrase" of the song. In the main break, the "abduction" moment occurs, as the alien-like vox stabs and funky pad and synth effects transport the listener to a distant planet.

Fuzzy Recordings proudly presents Mike EFEX's 7 30/ Luna Llena release. Mike EFEX has been no stranger in the EDM industry and has past originals and remixes that can be found on labels such as Armada Music, Infrasonic Music, Neuroscience Recordings and many more with multiple supports from the world's top 100 DJs. This talented and all around producer has been constantly evolving and innovating his own style and sounds as an artist and we couldn't be any happier with this release.
 
First up is Mike's original mix of "7 30". The track starts off with strong ambient pads and vocal cuts. Once the deep bassline digresses the hi-hats and chords slowly come into play and the track explodes into a seriously groovy track. The perfectly designed kick and percussions accompanied by the bouncy side-chained bassline and beautiful chords arrangement is pure progressive bliss. Our Fuzzy review staff couldn't help but head bob and groove along with the beat. The stereo imaging and reverb of the vocals and guitar certainly brings a nice summery layback vibe and is simply the frosting of the already delicious cake.
 
From Liverpool UK, James Ardrey AKA Mindset brings a super mellow "Midnight Drive" version of Mike's track "7 30". Mindset does a superb reinterpretation of the tune by slowing the initial tempo down and chilled to a steady 122BPM. This remix starts off with a soft kick and phased/flanged pad that really brings out the warmth of the track. With added intelligent synths, percussions, the right amount of vocals and an overall steady progression, this track is a cooler than a Tauntaun riding through a blizzard on Hoth.
 
Moving on to the other stunning original from Mike Efex is his track "Luna Llena". This tune features a deep driving bassline and drum pattern and revolves around a nicely reverbed main synth melody and pockets of soft soothing guitar. 
 
The next and last remixer on the featured release is Aquareef. Definitely making a name for himself the past couple of years, this talented German artist has done a fine job at remix duty. While maintaining the same deep driving bassline Aquareef has also slowed the track down to 125BPM, softens up the kick, and reinvented the main synth melody into to a chord synth.
