Growing Binaural (Headphones On)

In a soft and endlessly resolving chord, tiny pulsing melodies form layers underneath the drones. A distorted tone breaks free and emerges suddenly, then disappears again. Gradually emerging in different places. The layers of sound move around each other in an endless resolve.

EMF 'Again For Kaya' Live

An improvisation with electro-acoustic self-resonating harp by Ellie Ford. A piezo pick-up is placed inside the soundboard of the harp, and a 1W speaker and a small amp are placed inside the frame. This creates a feedback loop within the harp's body.
This piece explores resonance and layers of sound.
