In his debut album, raptAGOG draws inspiration from imagined scenes of geological movement — tectonic plates shifting, subducting, and pressing against one another. This hidden but perpetual motion beneath us stores potential energy, waiting for the moment of release, when the earth begins to shift and reshape.

The album opens into a rugged, shifting landscape, where sounds roll and echo in gradual motion. This energy builds across the work, unfolding through cycles of tension and release. Earthy and textural sounds ground the work in a shifting and fracturing geology.

Following the acclaimed self-released “Hwan Se 환세”, Korean composer Okgwa comes back on Polën with her most dense work yet : Hayan Kkot.

Drawing from the Korean spiritual concept of Han (a blend of deep grief and resentment, but not without hope), Okgwa weaves a subtle web that stretches across space and seasons, reflecting on death, life and on the fragile boundaries between humans, consistently shaping her unique sound through an intense ten-track album that follows directly on from her first album.

In Korea, the year is traditionally divided into 24 solar terms (절기), subtle seasonal points based on the movements of the sun and moon that guide farming and life rhythms.
In Okgwa’s previous album, the last track was Equinox (추분 or 춘분). The following solar term after the equinox is Hanro (Cold Dew): the moment when autumn deepens, the air turns sharp and clear, and cold dew gathers on the grass.

This new album, organized in three acts, closes with the track Hanro, which is also its release day: October 8th. A time when the earth itself exudes that cool, luminous breath.

The Space Drum Meditation remix enriches Okgwa’s sonic voyage, offering a striking and singular reinterpretation of the track Sikdang.

Drawing from the hypnotic pulse of modern deep techno and the vibrant energy o0f UK bass music, Fiber Bundle explores a precise and immersive approach to production. Each track unfolds as a self-contained environment, where repetition, texture and motion intertwine to form a meditative, psychedelic continuum.

Aruq was conceived during our eighth open demo submission phase, in which over 220 members of Aedi were invited to submit one of their unreleased tracks.

All submissions were collected in an anonymous playlist and voted on by the same community. The title and artwork underwent similar democratic processes.
