these waves tumble on into nothingness.

here i sit with tear filled eyes.
and no purpose in life.
just crying as it all passes me by.
but in the darkness all is still.
i finally understand.
i remain just another barrier to defeat.

i crumple these papers, and my face turns red.
but i just can't comprehend.
the light can't be seen, because it was never there.
a one way journey.
on its own path.
so i get up and walk.
with no direction in mind.
i scream and i cry.
these words fall on deaf ears.
just another complaint to the editor.
but he's got more important subjects to address.
than another distressed child merely learning the ways.
of this apathetic world.
fragile hearts calloused from the remainder of each mistake.
do not matter here.
we all mourn losses that were never our own.
but on this desolate road there are no shoulders to cry on.

TGHS make their full-length debut with Spooky Girls' Gymnasium. This seven song return to school is snotty, spazzy and dancey. The songs span a four year period of writing and development for the band and are a clear nod to the Three One G of the 00's and the sassy undulations of those who came before. A dropship crashes a dance battle in an arcade. LED love letters to your closest enemy.
