I like your sound design, the sounds work very well together. This may be subjective, but to me the chords and melody seem to wander around aimlessly, which nicely fits the title/song description, but on the other hand doesn't get me hooked. Anyway, good luck in the challenge! :)

This is not bad background music for use in a game but felt a bit too long and repetitive for listening to on its own.

fantastic drums sounds and pattern. they fit perfectly in the song. also really like the atmos. some...weird notes sometimes in the melodic line(imho) but it's a overall very enjoyable and very good composition.

I'm a bit conflicted about this track. I usually get bored very quickly with repetitive or atmospheric tracks, but here the first 3:30 were over in a second, which speaks for the quality of the track :) But after about 5 minutes, it felt a little too repetitive for me. But there are also a lot of things I liked, for example: The solid percussion work. The great echo SFX. The great filter bass. Not to mention that the overall mood is top notch as well.

I like the vibe very much, but each of these sections feel like they could be a little shorter -- at least for OSC purposes.

I like the drums, the dark atmosphere created and the progression of the elements, i miss a rythmic bass in some parts

OSC196 Full Circle Fool (Primer 2) 20/40

The gremlins in Negoba's studio decided to steal snippets of his previous OSC's to create a monster destined to confound and disgust all listeners. Unbeknownst to them, their creation (Jenkins) instead prefers cuddles and long walks on the beach.

All sounds created using Odin2 Softsynth by Wave Warden for KVR OSC #197.

Mix of stock presets, tweaked presets, and init. Shout back a bit to a previous track where I used Odin on an open round. I think I’ve learned a little since then.

What does the title/pic mean? 
I have had many dreams throughout my life about finding hidden doors that lead to magical places. The picture is of a abandoned stairway in a house I lived in for a few years in college. Leads to the backside of a refrigerator. I had dreams about that house, that there were secret floors burrowed back into the hillside, etc. And at one point years later I couldn't remember if this abandoned stairway really was there or I just dreamed it.

Anyway making this triggered another of that type of dream.

This month was a real challenge!

When I looked at Odin, I came up with the idea of a true One (!) Synth Challenge – just a single instance, no excuses.
I dove deep into sound design and quickly realized: this would become a real borderline experience.

While endlessly tweaking, I kept discovering new sonic paths – sometimes inspiring, sometimes frustrating.
Odin could be pretty temperamental when dealing with MIDI, but in the end, I managed to shape something that feels raw, tense, and expressive.

So here it is: Grenzerfahrung (borderline experience) –
a track born from limitation, chaos, and way too many hours. ;)
