The Hague-based musician Alina Valentina has always been a vivid dreamer. For Scrying the
Landscape XXIV, she dives into these lucid sleep states, where images scatter and reform – a
flicker, a hum, a mirrored hallway with no end. Unfamiliar yet intimate; a terrain of strange
voices, pulsating noise, and long shadows.

Her mix is both strange and offbeat, imbued with the sweet scent of an old, slightly dark cellar, where dub and psychedelic sounds, distorted rhythms and deep bass lines intersect, tracing the contours of a slow, esoteric dance.

Empty Space is an artistic platform based in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. We explore the interactions of physical media, their characteristic formal languages, and their modes of functionality. To achieve this, we focus on projects that experiment with various art forms, aesthetics, and crafts.
