A post-doom outfit currently sheltering in place in Portland, Oregon. We play weddings, funerals, bar/bat mitzvahs, you name it.

In a world where love seems imminently destructible, encypher conveys the lack of life love holds in our generation. A by-product of repeated disenchantment, encypher laments and renews herself through effortless conviction in her music. Her musical language is one that everyone can relate to. encypher embodies the art of transforming the core aspects of a situation into the beauty and perfection of a song. encypher’s goal is to create a world where any given emotion or emotions can be extracted from any situation and translated into song to evoke a visceral reaction from an audience. encypher converts pain into a form which listeners can adapt to & experience past pains that have been manifested into a positive outlet -song.
encypher has found the why for the message. In collaboration with encyphermusic: encypher has found a platform to help others to raise awareness for a non profit called the 523 JAL Foundation. The foundation is inspired by her late mother’s legacy as a creative artist. Her voice will help shed light through the darkness so that the stigmas that hold us so tightly can be shattered. 

encypher is now bringing it back the set to a more intimate environment of one voice, one guitar.
