Grief can feel like walking blindly through a barren desert in the middle of a dark, dust-filled storm - painful everywhere, impossible to name. For a long time, I couldn’t translate that moment into words.

Then I came across an incredible painting by my friend, Gabriele Kuz and it mesmerized me. As I was taking it, Enula's enchanting voice was playing by coincidence in the background. 
In it, I recognized something I've carried: the shame, the anger, the exhaustion of holding grief… and the fragile but courageous decision to move forward. 
That subtle internal shift - the final moment before choosing to take the first step forward - is what this piece is all about.
