Music is my therapy, its my release from past military trauma. Its never been about fame or fortune for me, just sharing some spark of hope in the world.  Been playing guitar and bass since I was a kid.  Gradually transitioned to learning keyboard and drums as well.  Started writing my own songs when I was 15.  I’ve written well over 1000 songs in my lifetime . I'm a fully functioning studio and work with various musicians worldwide. I enjoy working with all genres. Crossy met Ste at Boy Scouts and went to school with Evo. Influenced by Joy Division, Echo & The Bunnymen, David Bowie, The Smiths and lan McNabb, amongst others, ‘The Soups’ have played gigs across Britain, including playing at the Cavern Club on Mathew Street, Liverpool. 
Coming off the success of their 2020 album ‘Again’ and three single releases in 2021, the boys are producing their best ever music. Their indie pop songs feature strong lead vocals, searing guitar riffs, great keyboard melodies and striking vocal harmonies. 
Latest single ‘The Lemming Trail’, released on 16-Sep-22, is their best work yet and precedes the release of their forthcoming album ‘Contact’ later in 2022.
