Envelope Audio started out in 2017 with the aim of inviting artists and listeners to explore new musical ground within electronic music, being a foundation for new constellations in sound releasing prolific artists with an unique expression, such as the late Alland Byallo, Fjäder and Johanna Knutsson. Ever evolving, in 2023 Envelope audio is now seeing a transformation into a platform for a broader spectrum of music, with the same core mission: to challenge and excite our listeners by continuing to push the sonic envelope. BIO

Playing at well-respected venues around the globe, holding residencies in her home town Stockholm and warming up the decks for greats like Ame and Ron Trent are all experiences that have evolved Lioness to a sharp and versatile dj.

As a producer, Lioness key releases so far have included the ‘Last Nite’ EP (ROMB) and remixes for dynamic duo Very Addictive and Azure Blue. Her track 'Artresia' was chosen as one of the best electronic tracks of 2018 by Swedish National Radio and was well received by dj:s such as Tiger stripes and La Fleur. 

Lioness is also one of the founders of the strongly vision-driven label “Envelope Audio”, whose releases have been endorsed by artists such as Radio Slave, Dorisburg and Mr C (The Shamen) to name a few.

2020 came to a flying start with two fresh releases, a techno EP on the Stockholm-based Street Life Rhythm, as well as the exciting, genre-bending collaboration 'Pioneers EP', a tribute to three heroines in electronic music. The EP brings together herself, Johanna Knutsson, Tora Vinter & Fjäder in three stunning homages to Delia Derbyshire, Daphne Oram and Clara Rockmore (release April 24th). Both releases received accolades from Swedish National Radio's Samir Yosufi for being amongst the best electronic tracks of the first half of 2020. 

At the end of 2023, Nikki expanded her musical wings once again, releasing her debut album "Connection", showcasing a collection of songs ranging from indiepop to electronic folk and ambient.
