Pret A Ecouter, or "Ready to listen" records, is a record label specialising in deep, soulful and tech  house music. Whether you love deep soulful house or tech house then expect upfront cutting edge releases from them. Pret (as it has become known) has gone from strength to strength thanks to your support!  

Since 2008 label owner Ian has signed tracks to French label Flying Flowers, Polish label Tanztone as well as labels such as 66kHz out of the UK and Moonchild in South America.   His tracks have been both charted and featured on Beatport.  Remixes have also been carried out for Soulshift records.  His tracks have fast been garnering support from artists such as: Laurent Garnier (PIAS / Fcom), Deepchild (Trapez), Flash Brothers, (Agnosia), Peter geldeblom, Poussez (Toolroom, Huddtraxx, Artizan Music), Alex Attias (freedomsoundz / Mule / Compost), HrDivision (Wagon Repair), Matt Flores (Combination / Skwerl / Compost) Muallem (Compost Black label), Skwerl (Sonar Kollektiv), Yannick Labe (Sonar Kollektiv) to name a few.

He has taken this experience to set up Pret A Ecouter Records with partner Jerry Fremopong.

I simply like to support good music and good people. I love music with soul & depth in many shapes, forms & guises - it's been central to my life: always. And I'm grateful to all the producers, promoters, dj's, selectors, dancers and artists who've contributed to my experiences around the world over the years.
Have owned record shops, produced music, published books, promoted events, worked alongside some of the best and nicest in the biz, been to 100's of gigs blah blah blah. All of that's not so important though. It's simply about sharing music and connecting with like minded folk.
