Coming on the scene on Bambounou's Bambe label, Munich based producer @Polygonia presents 'Otro Mundo'. An exciting pack of extraordinary sonic pieces driven by intense rhythms with a strong focus on sound design and colorful harmonies. Next to her intriguing Grey Area works on this record, she also weaves two four to the floor productions into this collection, all featuring complex works on the drums and juicy sound aesthetics.

The story begins with 'Otro Mundo,' as Polygonia extends a harmonious and melancholic invitation, blending her own layered vocals with organic dubby beats, creating a captivating otherworldly atmosphere. Throughout the EP, Polygonia's distinct percussion and inventive sound design shine brightly. 'Mind Alteration' and 'Implosion Of The Known' lead the listener through mesmerizing groove-scapes, elevating perception to new heights. As the EP unfolds, 'Never Have I Seen...' offers a metaphysical experience, unveiling unknown marvels through rhythmic shifts.

The record comes with an impressive sleeve designed by Dimitri Erhard, representing the window to the other world.

Label SYS Sister Sounds (SSS) releases all Asian female and non-binary compilation ‘Unity,’ with all proceeds going to Palestine charity PARA Foundation.

The compilation houses production from 7 Asian music producers from all around the world including Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, China, Netherlands, Thailand and Canada, Uniting together to release a compilation that binds Asian diaspora together for a good cause.

With heartfelt storytelling and compelling sonic productions, genres include, dance, electronic, house, hip hop and ambient from producers Maggie Tra, nabii, Zeadala, masheen, ephemeral objects, DWAMS featuring earthangelbaby and Ambu Bambu.

On the compilation, SSS founder Maggie Tra said, “As Asian artists’ today, we feel so helpless with what’s going on. Music is what we know, so we wanted to connect together and release something that could go towards helping the people in need,”

“I feel so grateful to have these producers jump on board on this, this is what SSS is all about, and that’s the beauty of uniting together. We want to send a message of hope and togetherness,” she said.

This is the second compilation released by SSS, with the first compilation ‘Grounded’ released in 2023. SYS Sister Sounds Label is run by Maggie Tra and aims to release music from Asian women and NB people around the world.

The label has emerged as a trusted discovery platform, which promotes curiosity, diversity, inclusivity and connection. Profits from the compilation will go towards charity PARA Foundation, an organisation based in Australia. Palestine Australia Relief and Action (PARA) helps Palestinian migrants and refugees live safe, happy, and fulfilling lives in Australia.

Sagga is ephemeral objects’ debut in the realm of dub ambient. In Buddhism, sagga is a term for heaven, a blissful realm of existence where beings are reborn after death as a result of their past actions. ephemeral objects is a Chinese-Vietnamese-Canadian interdisciplinary artist, sound artist, VJ, DJ based on unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also known as Vancouver, Canada. She produces ambient, experimental, noise, and drone inspired music.

True to her name, her visual creations carry this sense of ethereality, focusing on textures and organic forms, both ephemeral and suspended in time at once. She merges generative videos with real footage to create her own unique, audio-reactive and abstract style where rich colours, spanning the full spectrum, wash over the screen, streaking the viewer’s mind with a strong image of the audio-visual journey at play. ephemeral objects has created music videos for forward-thinking Canadian electronic music labels, such as Mood Hut and NAGA. She is half of i+eo an audio/visual duo project with her collaborator IHA.

She is also a resident of Acceleration Radio, an open format FM radio, live stream, and events collective focusing on audio/visual experimentation, where she can fully dive into her interdisciplinary interests. In 2024, she was invited as one of ten emerging Canadian artists to participate in MUTEK Montréal's first Incubator program.
