Following on from the success of her 'It's like This, It's Like That' single, Henri returns with an emotive remix of 'Two Bodies (Feat. Emma Louise)' by the Australian duo, Flight Facilities.

The original, which features breathy vocals from Emma Louise, is the dance/pop production we have come to associate with Flight Facilities. Henri has pushed the boundaries of the track one step further; chopping up and looping snippets of Louise's vocals, while adding lush strings and a gorgeous piano interlude to the mix. 
 
Henri's remix will be sure to reignite your nostalgia for 90's-inspired piano house beats. Perfect in both live and intimate settings, you will be sure to have a sweet euphoric moment and take yourself back to Bora Bora beach in Ibiza. 
 
The remix is being released in anticipation of Henri's second single, Only Love Will Take Me There, a brooding underground house track, coming out on Monstertooth Records in November. It will include remixes and a b-side featuring a swelling, cinematic string arrangement by composer/producer Dan Heath (Lana Del Rey), guaranteed to pull at your emotional strings.

Once again delving into the deepest regions of the vast house music ocean - trawling for top-drawer tunage - Vinny Da Vinci and the team at House Afrika Records have caught some big fish for the seventh volume of ‘Deep House Sounds’ – and snagged some seriously distinctive rhythms.

The big fish include some of the grooviest names in the current dance music game; the likes of Home & Garden featuring Lisa Shaw, Abicah Soul (remixing Vick Lavender) and Jamie Anderson & Owain. And there are some very special catches too: contributions from a couple of the recent wave of DJs who have visited SA and become enamoured with its vibrant scene.

These recent visitors to (and vocal ambassadors for) the country include Harley & Muscle (the latter played gigs here alongside Kerri Chandler in 2009) and frequent flyer to these shores, French producer Rocco, who has two cuts included in Vinny’s smooth brew, one of which (“Love Sunsation”) is exclusive to the collection.
	
But as “sunsational” and special as this cut is, it’s just one of the cogs in a fully funk-tioning, hard-driving and highly-charged set that’s seamlessly strung together by a DJ whose credentials are unquestionable, and who’s still on the cutting edge of SA house culture two decades after his dancefloor debut.

“This latest ‘Deep House Sounds’ isn’t a radical departure from previous installments,” according to Da Vinci, adding with a smile that, “It’s not necessary to fix something that isn’t broken!” But he says he feels that the collection takes a leap forward in terms of the freshness of the sound, and reflects the widening appeal of more upfront sounds on SA ‘floors.

The fact that this is the seventh in the series – House Afrika’s most successful and essential line – says volumes in itself, and with an experienced groove navigator at the helm, house fans know what to expect. And that is simply the brightest beats around, superbly segued and then vacuum-sealed for long-lasting, body-flexing effect…
