On the morning of March 4, 2022, three young friends in a civilian car delivering food to an animal shelter were shot by the russian military in Bucha, Kyiv region.

Investigating surveillance video, UA:PBC journalists recreated the chronology of events and identified the russian soldiers that were present at the scene at the time of shooting.

Around January 20th my friend from work asked me to prepare for him some music for his graphics reel project. And here is result. Mostly done in one evening. Original track has 36 seconds, however, for SoundCloud purposes, I extended this "track" and added a finish. Finally this track didn't find his way to final product, but I think it's a decent project to share ;)

Main hero of this track is still awesome, 18 years old, soft synth from Native Instruments - Massive. Beside that I've used heavily filtered Heavyocity Foundation Emotive Choir and couple of percussive samples from Ableton Live libraries.

Little theme I've conceived on evening May 27th after watching the last episode of "The Devil's Hour". Simple melody and chords... a draft. Let's say it's a version 0.5 ;) Half improvisation, half interpretation of something that came to my head 30 minutes earlier. Lots of hesitation, a bit mistakes, two edited notes on ending of first part... and the double ending ;) I'm still human, and a bad keyboard player ;) Recorded in one take.

From the very beginning, this track fascinated me to such an extent that a melody immediately appeared in my head. In a burst of self-confidence, I asked the Master for the file of this song so that I could put my melodic ideas into it, just like I did with Donak RV's song https://soundcloud.com/r-u-r-pl/duo-melodica-rur-nylon-guitar-remix. And the strangest thing is, he willingly agreed to my idea!
So I tried it and here we are. It's been a while since then, but I think I've finally finished it. I sincerely hope that you will like the effect of this cooperation.

I needed some calming down after a stressful day. I just sat today and recorded this in 2 hours. While playing, I remembered Barry, the little hero of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", playing the glockenspiel... I invite You and Your inner child on a journey between the stars.

Humanity as a child of the Universe. First, it discover the "music" of the Universe within itself, it try to "play" it as best as it can, not being aware of the existence of the universe. Then it begins to "hear", notice the music of the Cosmos, get to know it. It is doing it better and better, but still, like a child, it "plays" clumsily, sometimes too loudly, sometimes harmoniously. Will it harmonize with it or will it disappear?

I hope you like this track at least a little bit. I made it thanks to four, free,  wonderful Fracture Sounds @fracture-sounds instruments from the Blueprint series: Gentle Brass, Gentle Strings, Textural Violin and main hero - Greenhead Chimes.

The spooky season has started and I took up the challenge of creating a slightly disturbing atmosphere in my music. It was another quick production. Here is the result. Certified A.I. Free production.

Little improvisation made after watching Fracture Sounds "Hemisphere" trailer and turned into track. The ad set the emotional state and choice of instruments. NO A.I. INVOLVED!

What I played sounded so melancholic that it reminded me of the thoughts I had while walking with my wife. Every playground we passed was empty. It contrasted with times when our son was little - finding a free swing for a toddler bordered on a miracle. Now it's a miracle to see children swinging on them. Could the "Universe 25" experiment have predicted everything that is happening now?

I played it in one take, then did some editing and added cello, harmonics, bass and ambient sounds. I used only three instruments: two from free Spitfire LABS libraries: Ambient Guitars and Cello Moods. Bass is sub patch from Native Instruments Massive.
I used one sample from the BBC Sound Effects library: Children: Playing - Fushun: Children playing in snow.

The genotype of this song definitely includes two of my favorite This Mortal Coil songs, "The Jeweller" and "Tarantula".

A Miracle I'd Like to See

I started making music in the early 2000s, mostly in the trip-hop genre. I played bass guitar in alternative rock band "acloneofmyown" (2005-2015) and electric guitar in post-hardcore band "The Sky is Red" (2006-2009).

Since 2022 I've started producing solo music and soundtracks for documentaries in various genres - from piano and neo-classical to electronic ambient.
