Introducing Albert - a new York based filmmkaer, video editor, DJ and event producer whose influence on the city's underground spans from the creative force behind the beloved Bob & Shirley parties to her work as festival Producer for Sustain-Release since 2023. Known for emotive, dancefloor forward sets, Albert steps away from her usual selections to explore a more introspective, dubby terrain, laced with her signature storytelling instinct. From percolating textures to soul stirring techno, this mix is a slow burning narrative shaped by her deep intuition and care. True to her documentary roots, each track feels like a scene; carefully chosen, rich with detail, and full of feeling. An incredibly overdue contribution from a prolific Australian born but Berlin based producer/DJ, @rudolf-c. Rudolf C, co-founder of the incredible @salt-mines label, has been releasing groovy, electro-tinged music into the world since 2015 - over 10 years of consistently impressive tunes. 

Ru is also a committed member of the Berlin music community and DJS regularly throughout Europe. A vinyl boss with the skills & taste only one with over a decade of experience one can acquire - we're lucky enough to showcase one of his recent studio mixes on Animix this week. Glitchy-techy-minimal-dubby, and some sexy acid lines for good measure. A perfect fit for the series.

Nems-B (Nahim Bendjilali) (@nemsb), born in 1979 in Aix-en-Provence, is a French DJ and producer with over 20 years of experience. Rooted in Soul, Funk, Jazz, and Hip Hop, he embraced House and Techno in the mid-90s. Known for his refined selections and technical skills, he runs the podcast/event platforms Phonons (@phonons-net) and Deepness Road. He has performed at top venues across France (Concrète, Glazart, Terminal, La Java, Les Jardins Suspendus) and internationally at Tresor (Berlin), Paral·lel Festival (Spain), Contact (Tokyo), Vurt (Seoul), Gare (Porto), and more. His music has been released on Oslated, Geometrika FM, On Board Music, Goldmin Music, Accent Records, with upcoming EPs on Lemme Records. The best is yet to come.
