Established in 2011 and at the forefront of Calgary's diverse nightlife, Sub Chakra is a cooperative of like-minded individuals focused on delivering high quality events for people to experience soundsystem culture. We are driven by inclusion, a sense of community and careful curation of both sonics and stage design - all in a safe and intimate environment. 

We focus on roots music and the low-end, left-field spectrum of electronic music. The distinct production and selections of our resident DJs collectively represent the various shades of Sub Chakra's sound.

Vito Natoli was born in 1995 in Puglia, Italy, and grew up in the Itria Valley, where his passion for music emerged at an early age. This natural inclination led him to explore the world of clubbing and electronic music, eventually embracing music production as a self-taught artist during the Covid period.

Driven by inspiration, dedication, and constant evolution, Vito developed his own sound, focusing on the emotions that music can transmit. His journey soon resulted in his first releases on respected labels such as elrow Music, SB Recordings, Mood Child, Circus Recordings, and Hooj Choons.

Over the years, he has shared the stage with renowned artists including Len Faki, Eddy M, Sven Väth, Andrea Oliva, Tini Gessler, Solardo, and Neverdogs, while performing in acclaimed venues worldwide such as Parco Gondar, Guendalina, Aphelion Club, Mandarino, Tantra (Ibiza), Buutsh’Ha’ (Tulum), La Frecuencia Violeta (Cali), Octava Club (Bogotá), Kremlin (Lisbon), BCM (Mallorca), Playa Soleil (Ibiza), among many others.

Shades of Day is an American-Canadian DJ and producer from Nebraska, crafting thumping progressive and melodic techno with a sharp tech flair. Influenced by Eastern European talent—drawing inspiration from artists like Michael A, Redspace, and early Miss Monique—her style balances driving energy with emotional depth. 

Emerging on the Pacific Northwest scene, Shades of Day has an established presence in Vancouver and Seattle, sharing the stage with Nora En Pure, Cristoph, HANA, Simon Vuarambon, Nils Hoffmann, and HNTR, among others.

Audiences consistently describe her sets as cinematic, rhythmically creative, and artistic richness, unfolding as a narrative built for the dancefloor that is rooted firmly in the underground.

The label 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 (Progressive-House & Melodic-House/Techno) has done a great job of consistency and quality since its launch in 2019 and with a growing caliber of artists, recognized as a vanguard label in the scene. Their talented team of DJ's and producers have been recognised by some of the biggest heavyweights in the industry and much of this can be credited to the quality of the label's productions.

Sinedie Records was founded by passionate like-minded individuals, who as a group aim to bring together great artists in the scene. The striking white image with the message of purity has always been synonymous with the label and, , the innovation of their musical style "Sinedie", has driven both the sound and the brand.

Sinedie Records is committed to discovering the most creative and avant-garde artists. This allows the label to remain firmly planted in the underground scene, where they have the ideal environment to continuously overcome any limits within the industry.

Looking to the future, the label plans to bring you its most refined list of artists. Bringing together a repertoire of producers with whom they are proud to work and promote a common musical project called SINEDIE RECORDS.
