Living in the stunning Whistler mountains for 10 years has brought a deep love for nature, art and adventure.
The tracks are an invitation: to wander inward, to move outward, and to co-create meaning in motion.

You’ll find some demo beats here with varying feels and energies. The projects are all work in progress, none are fully finished, mixed or mastered yet. Turns out recording vocals is a painful process too, hence minimal vocals so far. 2026 should see some official releases and live sets. Open to collaboration too! 
I hop between Canada and UK frequently.

@maxedoutcrew -  “ City Props was an idea I came up with in the summer of 2022,  displaying to the crowd where each producer is from during my set and paying homage to the city where the music was produced, remixed or edited.  There are so many places all over the world pumping out different genres of music and they all have their own piece of flavour attached to them.  I feel it helps people connect with the music if you know where it’s from and offers a new experience during the set“

Cmax Music AKA City Props is a second generation DJ.  His father was among the first djs to start the movement and offer to play records at clubs in the early 70's out in New Brunswick Canada.  Cmax has been an avid music festival attendee here in BC for years now,  having hit his first Shambhala in 2004 and watching Basscoast grow to be one of the most desirable festivals in Canada. The summer of 2021 brought on the opportunity to put a set together for Under the stars festival and it ended up being his first time playing solo live.
