Who's that guy nerding behind a laptop in a French cafe? It might be https://soundcloud.com/gal-tsadok-hai, working on new beats. Since the Dutch producer moved to Montmartre (Paris), he not only shook up his life but also his modus operandi. While enjoying a cafe-au-lait and ignoring the white noise around him, he worked on his new Perot EP.

A new life, a new sound. So, Tsadok-Hai decided to throw all 4x4 beats overboard. Even on Mangue, a track that starts out as a decent enough dark techno track, only to derail into a breakbeat frenzy towards the end. The other four tracks are equally adventurous and playful, with wildly zigzagging beats, rubbery congo's and rattling drums. Like Squarepusher being locked up with The Gaslamp Killer and Mr. Oizo. A great EP which takes Tsadok-Hai’s sound in exciting new directions.

Lola Edo is an Amsterdam-based DJ and entrepreneur shaping the city’s queer nightlife. She’s the co-founder of iconic bar Pamela and co-runs the sex-positive FLINTA party RubiCollective. As a RRFM resident, Lola is known for her genre-blending sets that move between techno, acid, electro, African bass, breaks, and more—always delivered with big energy and a bigger smile.

Her distinctive sound has featured on Boiler Room, IsBurning, Festimi, and Shanti Celeste’s NTS show. Lola has played leading Dutch venues like De School, RAUM, WAS., and Garage Noord, and festivals including DGTL, Lowlands, and Dekmantel Selectors, plus international queer parties such as HeSheThey, Gay Haze, Adonis, and Pinkwashing.

Naarm/Melbourne-based queer party turned label CONFIDE returns with its second release, a special split EP of club ready cuts no strangers to CONFIDE's dance floors, D. Tyrone & Jo Christy.

'Sisters Split', a collaborative piece of work by the two trans producers and DJs, sees the pair doubling up on joints perfectly tailored for their beloved city's queer scene. 

D. Tyron'e 'Funky (Age Of Love)', premiered here, was recorded during a stint at MESS (Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio) and driven by a fixation on Yahama gear from the 90s and 2000s. Light, bright, but driving, 'Funky (Age Of Love)' is a perfectly timed Summer jam we're excited to hear once the holiday season comes knockin'.

'Sisters Split' releases tomorrow, Friday, December 12 ahead of CONFIDE's celebratory release party at Miscellania this Sunday.
