Sincopat is proud to present a new interesting chapter in our story. gizA djs duo has been
on our radar for a while. The Italian duo delivers a timeless EP accompanied by the label's
Big Kahuna, AFFKT.
To start with an ode to the acid sound we have Acid Morning. Its hooky lead will make you
travel to the depths of the duo musical universe.
AFFKT's re-interpretation has a ripping bass, a raw and powerful sound. As always,
understanding the purest of their essence but taking it to his own territory.
Acid Nacht leads us into the darkness, a cinematic and intense trip into Psychedelia that
will kill the dancefloor.
Rivolta brings us back to the light to perfectly close the circle. An exciting break plus an
explosive and colorful drop, a futuristic piece of music for daydreaming.

Antonin De Bemels' new EP gathers three versions of "COMPTINE", a track that has evolved over the past seven years. The first iteration was released in 2016 on a compilation by the Brussels-based label Thin Consolation. It was Antonin's first - and maybe too prudent - attempt at ambient techno, and he felt the need to push it further. The second version is infused with a throbbing melancholy that would suit what was to follow... It was released in February 2020, just before the pandemic outbreak, on the "La fin des pseudonymes" album (also on Thin Consolation). Antonin's discovery of the Roland TR-8S groovebox set the tone for the third variation, fresh from 2023. The result is way more techno and even more melancholic... Teardrops on the dancefloor?

One central element always remains: a deep love and understanding of sound and all its influential effects. Peter Van Hoesen runs Time To Express and Center 91. Together with AtomTM he is SYNC. - a live techno project focused on improvisation and collaboration. Together with Yves De Mey he is Sendai, a forward looking experimental outfit with releases on Editions Mego, Archives Intérieures, Konstrukt and Stroboscopic Artefacts.

Starting his DJ career in New York, Junya Yamamura is now actively performing across various venues in Tokyo’s underground scene. Alongside sound engineer Ryosuke Tsuchiya, he also runs his own party series, lift. Known for his deep and refined style of techno infused with a fresh sensibility, Junya’s sets have earned recognition from Tokyo’s devoted underground clubbers, marking him as one of the new DJs leading the next generation.

Benouze invites Soyoon in "House is not dead" !

The DJ and producer, resident at Mihn Club in Hong Kong and Macadam in Nantes, lives between Seoul and Paris. Soyoon followed her parents to France at the age of 13. Heavily influenced by her grandfather, who was an avid collector of psychedelic rock and Asian party music cassettes and vinyl records, she has always been immersed in a musical atmosphere without borders! A fan of Depeche Mode, Prince, and David Bowie, she made her first compilations, which she listened to on her first dolphin blue Aiwa Walkman.

This is undoubtedly the reason for the perfect balance of her sets, which flow between several genres without specializing in a single aesthetic. She made her debut on Boiler Room's From the Counter shows alongside Ron Morelli and has shared the stage with Vladimir Ivkovic, JP Enfant, Oliver Hafenbauer, Krossfingers, Lauri Soini, and S.O.N.S.

Soyoon is a visionary artist, capable of reworking raw music into interpretations that hold nothing back, especially when it comes to revealing the best. With unfailing dexterity, she handles vinyl like a mystical conductor, seductive as a snake charmer. Her sets are characterized by wild house, mixed with luminous trance, techno, disco, and haunting new wave. She embodies a powerful idea of celebration, fiery and danceable. Soyoon is a young artist to watch very closely!

DJ, producer, and artistic director of the Kluster label and collective, Benouze (aka oMe who ran "Electro-Nirique" show during last season on Line Out), offers a new House residency to express all the love he feels for this timeless genre.

In Benouze’s own words :

“It still grooves, it still makes you sweat, it still warms hearts and gets arms raised. And that’s exactly why I’m launching this residency. House music was my first crush. It’s raw, accessible, a little cheeky, and it opened all kinds of doors for me: techno, Italo, and dark disco… But deep down, it always comes back to house. Because nothing beats a good track that gives you chills from the very first notes, puts a huge smile on your face, and sweeps you up in the collective communion of the dance floor.

In this residency, I want to bring back that solar, unfiltered energy, to remind people that Chicago House, with its pianos, heart-wrenching disco diva vocals, and dirty, raw grooves that crackle like sparks, is still very much alive. And even if we hear it less in Parisian nightclubs, it continues to burn thanks to passionate artists, and I want to give them all the space they deserve. Behind the turntables, I am expressive, sunny, always looking for that tipping point where everyone dances together, without restraint.

That’s exactly what I want to convey here: a residency that smiles, dances, communicates, and makes people feel good. In short, it’s a declaration of love. A bubble of raw groove and warmth, a space to rekindle the flame and remind everyone that, damn it, this music will never die. »

When Stephen Hitchell released The Seduction of Silence in 2009 under his Intrusion alias, the double-CD immediately established itself as a landmark in the dub techno continuum. Across deep, glacial chords, cavernous bass and hypnotic atmospheres, Hitchell expanded the Berlin/Detroit lineage into something spiritual and introspective – a meditative art form rooted in emotion, texture and stillness rather than club-function alone.

Sixteen years on, The Seduction of Silence returns in its most definitive form, with both Part 1 and Part 2 now finally available on vinyl for the first time. Remastered and cut by Stefan Betke (POLE), the records unlock new depth and dimensionality, offering a fully immersive experience for both longstanding admirers and new listeners.

Part 1 traces the genesis of Intrusion, sparked by Hitchell’s rediscovery of a Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000 sampler containing fragments of his ’90s experiments. Revived during a period of transition – long hours in record distribution, a move to Chicago’s lakeside, impending fatherhood – those sounds became the foundation for weighty yet introspective dub, heard vividly in Montego Bay and Intrusion Dub.

Part 2 carries a more expansive, improvisational feel, influenced by the late Phillip C. Hertz, Hitchell’s colleague at Crosstalk Distribution. Recorded through live jams and experimental sessions, this chapter drifts into deeper ambient-dub territory, paying tribute to collaboration, community and the fluidity of sound.

Together, both parts form a deeply personal document of life, art and devotion to sound. Alongside this feature, Hitchell shares a live recording from his New York debut at Public Records in July 2025, hosted by Zen/Echo – an intimate Intrusion performance in full analog drift.

For episode 242, we feature Sphinx, a Detroit-based DJ and multimedia artist whose path into electronic music is shaped by years of creative exploration and deep connection to community.

What began in a bedroom in West Michigan—while studying Fine Art and Illustration—has evolved into a distinct sonic practice rooted in Detroit’s rich techno legacy. After returning home in 2021, Sphinx immersed herself in the city’s underground, drawing inspiration from its enduring ethos of experimentation, resilience, and collective energy.

Her sound blends layered percussion, acid grooves, and Detroit’s driving pulse into mixes that are both introspective and physical. Influenced by early exposure to live jazz, spiritual traditions, and symbolic storytelling, she creates sets that move beyond the functional—toward the transformational.

From stages like Movement, Electric Forest, and The Great Beyond, to this latest offering for Blank Code, Sphinx continues to craft experiences that resonate on and off the dance floor.
