Release notes:

A singer-songwriter and producer from Georgia, Tamada is named after the traditional Georgian table host, or toastmaster: the one who presides over banquets and conducts the evening’s salutes, songs and stories. The album revolves around Tamada’s songwriting combined with various elements from different electronic sub-genres. Both highly experimental & wildly catchy. His lyrics resemble toasts in ancient Georgian, touching on current social issues and romantic sentiments. Tamada is still searching and experimenting, an ongoing process that is unlikely to end.

Lasha chapel before starting his new project ‘’Tamada’ used to be known for his minimal beats combined with bluesy vocals, which he performed at major festivals around Europe. Sometimes, he played traditional Georgian songs towards the end of his sets, or for his friends. “It was more like a joke, but people loved it, and eventually I realized that this was my true passion,” says Chapel. “We are nothing without our roots” & ‘’it’s very easy to yield to westernization, So now I do not have anything to escape from’

After Spending 10 years abroad between Latvia & Germany, Lasha returned back home to Tbilisi to connect more deeply with his roots. He thinks everyone should leave their hometown for a while & return. To appreciate the beauty that we usually take for granted.

Aroma Nice and Earl Grey’s Monologue duo debut on Rua Sound with Keano Traxx. A playful study of technicolour breaks in 4 wide-eyed varieties, stuffed with tight drumfunk dynamics and melodic warmth.

A junglist’s haze shrouds the muzzled braindance ballistics of Monologue, a musical partnership that pairs a 15-year friendship in drum-cutting with a keen flair for melody. 2022’s debut EP Acid Settee for YUKU set the scene, now Rua Sound helps prize open further trails along their introspective club voyage.

With his strong debut 'Voltage Controlled' he showed what he´s capable of, with his PARADUBS release 'Style Is A Crystallisation/ Never Sleep' he proved once again that  he belongs in the holy halls of Jungle Techno. Now he´s back to present us a new set of tricks and brings us two absolutely gorgeous atmospheric Jungle rollers on the A side while returning to his signature Jungle Techno style on the flip!

'Life And Destiny' opens the EP in style. It´s been doing the rounds for a while and we are stunned to finally put it out there. Once you heard this atmospheric jungle roller with the 'life is something that creates its own destiny' sample and its rolling amens, fat amens, drifting pads and piano sprinkles it stays in your head. This is a big tune!

Sonar´s Ghost returns to Parallax and makes his debut on lathe-cut label PARADUBS. 

'Box Of Delights' is a homage to a certain tune that put the Full Cycle label of the Bristol posse surrounding Roni Size, Die, Krust and Suv on the map back in the day. Can you guess which track it refers to? Classy rollin breaks, 'come on' shouts, 'inside my mind' vocal and jazz flavors are the order of the day here. Something to bop your head and get lost into, something to roll out a long mix with. Then the second break enters with a soothing female vocal and more jazzy licks. This has style! Spring is here, put this on loud and open the windows!

50 lathe cuts will be available at the Runout on the 13th April 2025, the rest goes up on Bandcamp to a date yet to be announced. Be quick!
