This is actually my fave overlay of the mix. Both deeply important old songs dancing together like lovers.

I’m honored to have been asked to submit an exclusive set for Faultline, the only Bay Area crew still earnestly holding down the breakbeat vibe. I’ve been playing breaks since the late 90’s and I strove to incorporate a wide spectrum of Swampy breakbeat from downtempo, through cross-genre House flavors with modern Bay Area bass vibes, through late 00’s energy, ending on my 90’s DJ origins in progressive breakbeat. This is one of my favorite cohesive mixes I’ve done; I hit all my targets and think the vibe is just delicious, hella Deep, and a bit moody for winter vibes. I open slow and moody while the last five songs all have relationship vocals to my current struggles and bear relevant soul; while the middle drops fav jams from all eras. Eric Riggsbee is a veteran DJ, with 27 years of experience and the Founder of the event production company FAULTLINE SESSIONS out of San Francisco, CA and Portland, OR.

Eric hosts the FAULTLINE SESSIONS mix series, a place for DJ's across the world to showcase various forms of the Broken Beat.

Eric was instrumental in the early to mid 2000’s Breaks scene in San Francisco, playing with Breakthru and regularly featured in the now infamous Eklektic / Hektic weekly.  

Eric moved to Portland in 2021 and is bringing his refined transitions, tight programming and impeccable track selection to the Rose City.
