This formidable DJ duo consisting of Alessandro Parlatore and Marcello Giordani first met in 2011 and began collaborating soon after, forming the Marvin & Guy project in 2013. Hailing from the Italian Riviera, the duo is known for their unique blend of Italo disco, new wave, and techno music with a sound that has become characterized by hypnotic melodies, driving beats, and vintage synthesizers.

Marvin & Guy have released music on several labels, including Life and Death, Correspondant, and Permanent Vacation, and have remixed tracks for a variety of artists, including Tame Impala, Red Axes, and Midnight Magic. The duo has performed at some of the world's most prestigious clubs and festivals and continue to tour extensively, bringing their electrifying performances to audiences around the globe.

This tantalising new session arrives ahead of their turn in Room 1 alongside Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Township Rebellion, MIURA, Tal Fussman, Moritz and Just.kelly on Saturday 15th April.

Emerging as one of Sweden's rising stars, Storken stands at the crossroads of Stockholm's vibrant urban pulse and the serene beauty of the Swedish countryside. Born in '93, he grew up in a family of musicians, immersed in the sounds of iconic 80s legends like Phil Collins, Queen, and Tina Turner. This musical upbringing ignited a fascination that drove him to master an array of instruments, from drums and guitars to piano and turntables. In tandem with his musical exploration, Storken delved into the realm of philosophy, creating a unique foundation for his artistic expression.

As he embarked on his musical voyage, the sonic tapestry of underground electronic genres lured him in, captivating his heart. Drawing from the rich tapestry of his upbringing, he ingeniously intertwines the deep-seated traditions of Sweden's hinterlands with the magnetic allure of electronic disco. This innovative blend reverberates through his debut release, "Lille Vals," on Gerd Janson's esteemed label, 'Running Back.' The launchpad for his artistic trajectory, this release resonated across the global dance music scene.

Storken's debut EP, 'Skogsdisko,' further crystallizes his distinctive style, channeling the spirit of the Swedish wilderness into an electronic disco soundscape. This evolution hasn't gone unnoticed, capturing the attention and support of esteemed figures like Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Folamour, The Blessed Madonna, Purple Disco Machine, Patrick Topping, Andhim, and Krystal Klear. These artists recognized his remarkable ability to weave a new narrative in the world of electronic music, where tradition meets innovation.

Storken's dynamic presence is equally felt in his performances, taking audiences on a journey that traverses the realms of nostalgia and futurism. From the sun-soaked shores of Brighton Beach to the neon-lit landscapes of Berlin's Kater Blau, his sets pulse with a diverse range of venues. Eric Stark touched down in Australia 5 years ago, bringing with him a decade's worth of European electronic music and industry knowledge. Making the move from France to London in 2009, he made waves in the city that shaped rave culture in the Northern Hemisphere. Performing sets at electronic music institutions including Fabric, The EGG, Mode and The Qube Project, he was also booked to perform at Glastonbury and Kazantip- two festivals that pull some of the biggest acts globally.

Since his arrival to Melbourne, Eric has contributed constantly to our music industry by not only by being booked for shows with Thick as Thieves and Novel (amongst many others) but also by running his own SUPERNATURE parties, being the music director at MOTION festival, producing his own music and curating selectors for various other projects and venues including the "Weekly Selector" at Terror Twillight.

Dance floor focused, Eric Stark feeds off the crowd and assures to deliver all that they want whilst taking them on his own artistic journey. You’ll find home on the dance floor for this set!
