The Song is my arrangement of Michael Manring's  Solo Piano piece "Sung to Sleep"  

Michael is a world-renowned Bassist, but he's also a skillful & thoughtfully solid Composer - - 

I worked hard to faithfully re-create his Solo Piano,
then merely added orchestral instruments. 
It's his beautiful structure that drives the piece

Phoenix Rising Up is an anthem that is cultivated in the American Rock Genre written and produced on my instrument, the Dulcimer. Adding many layers and textures, such as organ, piano, drums & tambourine, I take you through an experience of being re-born. As a Survivor of Domestic Violence, there is nothing more American Rock n Roll, than feeling as though you can rise above and become free. Freedom was an experience for me, a second chance at life. Now that the dust has settled, erased the ashes from my face, it is within the fire, that I have emerged like the Phoenix.

An intimate American Roots music performance by Elizabeth Butler in collaboration with Arun Shenoy

ELIZABETH BUTLER is a native of Savannah, Georgia, but has lived in Texas for the past twenty years. The talented singer-songwriter first began playing guitar at the age of eleven, and within a few years was part of her church’s music ministry, as well as playing for various youth groups.

She recorded her first demo tape of original songs in 1982, and after an adventurous musical journey that took her from playing in coffee shops to being a member of the country/folk duo Running Home, she embarked on her solo journey with the release of her critically acclaimed debut album Love & Loss & Stuff Like That in 2014.

In Butler’s words, Love & Loss & Stuff Like That is a reading of diaries, a hearing of confessions about the joys and heartbreaks that make us both unique in our stories, and alike in the expressions of matters of the heart.

Since then she has taken on a new course of releasing singles on a regular basis that has resulted in a recording of her composition, “Lullaby” in 2016.

On hearing an early demo of her next composition “If I Knew”, GRAMMY Award nominated Artist and Producer ARUN SHENOY, quite taken by the music and already a fan of Elizabeth’s work, proposed an alternate version of the song based on a more intimate styled production drawing influences from some of Tracy Chapman’s earlier work, and varied inspiration from the likes of Steve Ray Vaughan, John Mayer and Firehouse.

The resulting single titled “If I Knew (feat. Arun Shenoy)” was released on July 01, 2017 by Narked Records.

Symphony soundtrack of bathing the Labrador, Maui Scott. Contributing orchestra members Hank Guaglianone on drums, Chris Hambone Cameron on weird keyboards, and Erik 'eski' on kazoo, bass and water percussion, and whatever else you may hear....except of course the featured vocalist, Maui, who insisted on writing his own lyrics, on the spot...LIVE.   Impromptu canine choirs frequently join in.

"A Trick of the Wind" is the fifth solo album from Erik Scott. Scott's fourth solo album, "In The Company of Clouds," received Zone Music Reporter (ZMR) awards for Album of the Year and Best Contemporary Instrumental Album in 2016. It was also a #1 at Echoes syndicated radio. 

 "A Trick of the Wind" is brilliant, enlightened, and enlightening.  It's a musical work of art to be appreciated on many levels, not only because of how well done it is overall, but also because you can hear the heart that pours out of every note. Multi-textured. Contemporary. Unique. If I have to call it something, I'm going to call it "Progressive New Age". 

Erik Scott is a well known professional musician, having worked with Alice Cooper, Sonia Dada, Flo & Eddie, Pops Staples, and many more. But to try to label or categorize Erik Scott, musically, would be a mistake.    Dyan Garris, Best New Age CDs.

As beautiful and from the heart as it is technically adept, his current material is virtuosic but never ostentatious, with nods toward ambient sensibilities fleshed out through unique and often complex melodies.
