Though we have been fans of his music for a few years, we were introduced to Söhns through his and Chris IDH's Afro-style springtime remix of resident Snowedin’s Rabbit Valley, and we’re honored to welcome him back to the Sky Terrace fold. Based in Katerini, Greece, Söhns’s résumé includes releases with organic house innovators Melody of the Soul, Amulanga, and Where the Shadow Ends. Listening to this twelfth installment of Moonlight Mixtapes gives us the feeling that he effortlessly strikes an equilibrium between mind, body, and sound. Forays into the deep-ends of house juxtaposed with playful notes of flamenco guitar, Norwegian electronica, and tribal chant give this mix an air of reverie that’s versatile enough for day-to-night rotation.

This is my tribute to Dan Grimm and Diego Feder, aka GRIFE. They are located in Curitiba (Brazil).

They have always developing their music skills, and met each other in 2017.  And with very different backgrounds but the same driving force and passion to express their feelings and emotions through music, they startet the project GRIFE. It didn’t take much time for them to be sharing musical projects, collabro-ing and putting hours of work in production.

This tribute is dedicated to Joseph Haddad, who is better known as Joseph Kaz, and was previously recognized as ID.Jay. 

Joseph was born in Beirut, Lebanon. His profound journey into music began at the age of 14, as he immersed himself in various musical genres. This passion for music ignited his entry into the vibrant nightlife scene, where, from an early age, he would stealthily attend electronic music events. 

Electronic music not only became his guiding star for future career aspirations but also served as an escape from the ordinary. Inspired predominantly by the everyday sounds that surrounded him, he developed a lifelong devotion to collecting and sampling these sounds, particularly those of an ambient and organic nature, which he incorporated into his musical compositions.
