In this episode of Cygna Cuts, we have a special guest: Hidden Memory. Emmerson Hernández, aka Hidden Memory, is a Venezuelan DJ, musician, and producer with over two decades of experience in the global underground electronic scene. A co-founder of the Babylon Motorhome collective and a pioneer in Venezuela´s drum & bass movement with Simpl3, he has performed on stages like Sonar Festival in 2002 and collaborated with artists such as Cardopusher, Bok Bok, Tomas Urquieta, DJ Babatr, and Phran.
Now based in Amsterdam, his project Hidden Memory blends Afro-Venezuelan polyrhythms with cutting-edge club sounds.
For this session for the Cygna Cuts show, while fusing UK jungle roots with forward-thinking drum & bass, he reconnects with the sounds that inspired him from the beginning, with a selection of the freshest cuts & gems from producers he admires, showing the reshaping sounds of these genres, with a modern, unpredictable twist.

With releases on the cutting-edge label childsplay as well as plenty of independent drops, Maniken05’s discography is a kaleidoscope of club remixes, trance heaters, and hardcore bangers, including a recently released official remix of horsegiirl & DJ G2G’s “bby luv 3x.” Fresh off the release of their newest album “0110101101” on childsplay, Maniken05 is showing no signs of slowing down, with plenty more heat in the works.
