Astracom, an alias of label-head Twin Shape, touches down on Mindspring for the first time with label mainstay Dimmat. These two have crafted a standout Experimental Psybreak. This highspeed tune is laced with World elements, subterranean basslines, and teeming with hidden knowledge. The Psychedelic elements are fused deeply to a Progressive framework, while the journey down “Hidden Path” twists and turns - taking the listener on a fresh excursion.

Entangled Mind is first up on remix duties. A fresh face on Mindspring, this is her debut release! Opting to take the track down her own path, this iteration is a Progressive Psytrance stormer. Expect to hear the best parts of the original tuned to a new frequency of mind-expanding bliss.

Having worked with Twin on his Auxiliatus EP, it was a no-brainer to tap Key-G from Desert Trax to dig this remix back into depths of Downtempo Psychedelic. His chilled take on the original really brings out more meditative aspect of the original, with dark undertones and dank squelches. Adding some welcome additional ingredients, Key-G has made this track with own flavor.

Continuing down the path, DeathMomenT returns to drink from the Mindspring. Heavy on the Dub, this guide takes us deeper on our journey towards a glitchy and squishy Psychedelic destination. Bouncy, and laden with dripping melodic goodness, this stripped back version shows us a new dimension of sound.

Having reached the end of path, another first to visit Mindspring, Scion offers us a warm farewell. He turns a mirror to have us reflect on our travels. Deep, and heavy, with plucks spun out of pure light, the atmosphere soars higher into the stratosphere. Strong, determined, rhythms balance the contemplative nature of the synth work.

MUSICAL MOON MUSING EXPERIMENT - Sept. 17th / 2020 to Aug. 22nd / 2021

This is the eighth installment in a 12 Synodic month journey to capture the correlation between sound, emotion and cosmic energy. Each mix is created within the 13 hours leading up to the crest of the moon cycle which is the best time to harness the power of the new / full moon. Through meditation and connecting to the current astrological energy ( signs, planets & elements ) I then create a dj mix from that inspiration. This is a collaborative project with Amaris (Tanya Lee) from Body Art Motion who has consulted on the overall project as well as provided the incredible opening & closing meditations.

Erothyme was born on planet Earth and has been making the jams since, like, forever, man! His sound is a majestic blend of overblown hyperbole and meaningless adjectives that actually have nothing to do with music. His tracks land in your ear like a dolphin gracefully diving into the surface of the ocean after doing a triple backflip in front of the setting sun. Erothyme founded the Perpetual Victory Machine at the beginning of time because he knew it was good to be on the winning team. Some people think that Erothyme doesn't be like he is, but he do.
