Shakti is an Indian Chicago-born & Grand Rapids, MI raised DJ specializing in dark music, with an emphasis on dark industrial techno. She is the founder of the cyberpunk label— Error!!! 404.

Shakti has been a trailblazer in creating a following in the West Michigan goth scene, as well as the Detroit Techno scene, and Grand Rapids electronic music community. She is an advocate for freedom of expression, the LGBTQIA+ community, & for standing up for safety and ethics in the the dance music community. 

Her fierce love for music knows no bounds and is liberated to harmonize with all styles of music. 

Shakti’s sets are influenced by her love for darkness & goth culture. Fans have described her sets as: pure hellfire, brutal, wicked, evil, murderous, haunting, eerie, moody, inspiring, powerful, surgical, & as elegant destruction. 

Shakti hopes to inspire others to be relentless in their authenticity & expression by sharing a beautiful perspective of darkness that is so often misunderstood and feared. 

Shakti is currently a resident of Error!!! 404, Question!? Sleep, and a member of Remedy Collective.
