Developer, born Adrian Sandoval, is a pioneering force in the Los Angeles techno scene, with a career spanning over three decades. One of the few active DJ/producers to emerge from LA's underground in the early 1990s, Developer has been instrumental in shaping the West Coast techno movement through his performances, productions, and curatorial efforts.

Today, Developer continues to push the boundaries of techno through his labels, Modularz and Olympian with both platforms showcasing both established and rising talents from across the world.

We welcome Burden for TRS041.

A London-based artist originally from Italy that is steadily carving his path through the international techno circuit.

With a sound rooted in groove-heavy tension and hypnotic rhythms, his work explores the deeper, more meditative end of the spectrum.
Releases on KSR, Planet Rhythm, BCCO, Truncate and Drawner Records showcase a refined, focused approach.
For this episode, Burden shares a special live recording from a recent daytime party where he showcases a departure from his usual darker palette, leaning into a lighter flowing energy while maintaining his signature tension and drive. It’s a mix that reflects range, instinct and a very deep connection to the moment.
“For this one, i’m shining a light on an artist from the London techno scene who’s been catching my ear for a good reason. 
Burden brings that exact mix of elements I look for in this music. 
Dark atmosphere, tight low-end and a real instinct for building pressure without overdoing it.

He is the co-founder of Bloom LDN and already dropping quality records on respected labels but it’s the music itself that speaks the loudest.
His sound is raw and functional, minimal in structure but full of detail. 
You can tell he’s got a sound engineer’s ear and a DJ’s mindset.
This live set was recorded during the Fossil Archive showcase at TGTF London. It’s the kind of performance where everything feels dialed in.

Welcome to the 13th episode of The Gekiga podcast. For today’s set, it’s my honor and pleasure to welcome my comrade, and homie NWHR. 

The term “prodigy” gets tossed around a lot, and in most cases it’s a meaningless descriptor, but with Franco there’s no doubt in my mind it not only applies but underestimates his talents. 

As a producer in his early twenties, his resume already puts guys twice his age to shame. Having dropped masterpieces on Bas Mooy’s MORD Records, ØM’s WARM-UP label, a double vinyl on the incredible Nachtstrom Schallplatten (where I had the honor to contribute the cover art), Illegal Alien Records, [R]3volution Records, Prophet Recordings, a collaborative LP with the underground icon Kolpos, and on and on and on. There’s no one who has accumulated the level of respect and appreciation from the best of the best in such a short time and at such a young age. 

Today’s set is a journey through dark, hypnotic textures and assertive rhythms that only Franco can deliver. To have such a sophisticated, defined artistic signature so early in his career is mind boggling and I’m here to support, witness, and cheer my brother every step of the way.
