After writing Brxeon and Brxken within the 24 hours of each other I decided to push my self and see if I could release a new album under 12 hours. The whole album is essentially improvised and has an experimental tone throughout taking influence from dance music, sound art, 60s psych and hip hop. Old Man Saxon cassette store day reissue of The Perils, via Fuzz Cult. The Perils is the debut EP from OLD MAN SAXON. An album written entirely while living on the streets of LA. Old Man Saxon spent 2014 living out of his car while pursuing his rap career. He slept in the backseat of his Ford Explorer, showered at gyms, ate Happy Meals twice a day, and worked nights at a restaurant to keep money in his pocket.

Every night, he wrote lyrics to keep his mind off the daily struggles. Over the course of the year, he wrote hundreds of songs, recorded about 30, and selected four songs that best captured the year—a defining moment in his life and career—for his new album, The Perils.

This album represents where I am with my music at this moment in time! I am the lead, rhythm and fingerstyle guitarist on each song as well as handling all the vocals. Thru other magic I was able to add the other instruments that make my music come alive! These songs, this album, is dedicated to the "Stars" in my life that got me this far.......thank you all!
