Indie dance duo Satin Jackets get set to release their ‘Foreign Affair EP’ on the unstoppable Eskimo Recordings. This three track EP sees the German pair at their absolute best starting with the wholly uplifting and epic ‘Sunrise In Paradise’ moving into the deeper disco delight ‘Gelee Royal’ and ending on the more thought provoking ‘Fall Apart’ featuring Nashville, TN based producer and vocalist Patrick Baker.

I Miss You

Thanks to all the participants in the 2nd annual South Rakkas remix competition. Once again some brilliant remixes on SRC’s Winding Rave feat. Rage.  Last years’ competition came down to two crazy remixes, where in the end, German producers Robs & Duke came out on top.  This year there were so many great productions in so many different genres we had to call in extra judges. 

This year’s winner is DJ/producer, Fat Cap with a jaw-dropping Drum and Bass remix.

*Note: There were so many great remixes we decided to post the judges top 5 pics along with our winner.   Special mentions to: Reyna Ferra, Sizer myrics, Phaed Vons, Harikiri, and Genesis.

2013 has been a huge year for Satin Jackets, one of Germany’s most notable indie dance protagonists.

Satin Jackets and Sydney based singer KLP have joined forces on this one. They met in Berlin and performed together at Oval Space in London, this first collaboration was their logical next step. ‘For Days’ has that lush production that has characterized Satin Jackets for quite some time now. Exquisite harmonies combined with the dreamy vocals from KLP define this cutting edge indie dance gem that has masterful melodies and stripped-back ambience throughout. The release is topped off by the laid back slo-mo vintage burner ‘Night Keys’ to put you into that late-night cruising mood.

Following the very well-received ‘You Make Me Feel Good’ and ‘Olivia’ (taken from The Pink Collection), ‘For Days’ marks the third Satin Jackets release on Eskimo this year.
