Gui’s incredible production prowess is fully on display here. A funky, chunky bassline paths the way for what we believe is one of the Brazilian’s wildest forays into psychedelic terrains to date. "You Make Me Feel" was the first outtake from Steve Bug's second Poker Flat album "Sensual". Slowly but unmistakebly building up a hypnotic groove with a rolling percussion loop, ice-cold snare and hollering vocal (reminiscent of Gainsbourg's "Bonny and Clyde"), Bug forces you flashing your sharpest dancing routines even before he throws in that distorted, take-no-prisoners, Saunderson-style organ-bassline. Flip over for another version that's served up straightened-out and stripped down yet still manages to come up with a higher percentage of FUNK. Another totally satisfying five star menu for the Poker Flat gourmet.

Originally "Back in the Days" released in 2004 on Resopal Schallware marked Tigerskin as a torchbearer for pop-oriented groovy House, reviving the raw energy of early 90s bleeps, swung beats, and untamed dance floor spirit but transforming it with the technical possibilities of the early 00s into his trademark romantic vision.

From the pulse of “Dance Now” to the cringey charm of “Party in My Car,” Tigerskin proved that Back in the Days was more than a look backward - it was a bridge between era's: a reminder that the roots of club culture still grow, still breathe, still move people.

Two decades on, this re‑release doesn’t just bring back nostalgia - it reminds us that reminiscing every once in a while can push creativity. The album and a few EPs around it were the start of a pretty different approaches to club music for Tigerskin, that led to several big tracks and remixes, some now considered to be classics by many. 

The three formerly unreleased and slightly more club-oriented bonus tracks had been recorded the same year but were amongst many that didn’t make it to the album.

Exploited Club welcome in power duo EMJIE and Emma B who bounce out 3 classy club cuts packed with groove, energy and panache.

Hailing from Brussels, EMJIE is catching heavy acclaim off the back of records for Get Physical and Yes Yes Yes, as well as a recent B2B with Diplo, a radioshow for Keinemusik and bill-sharing with the likes of Dixon, LP Giobbi and Roman Fluegel. Her sound is characterised by stripped, Indie sonics, classic House and sleek, infectious vocals.
