For their first ever double-LP outing Razor-N-Tape presents POOLS, with a sun-drenched and laid-back collection of tunes called Innertubes. POOLS, the moniker of Los Angeles duo Thee Mike Bee and DJ Morsecode, craft a sound that conjures up the easy going swagger and soulful grit of the left-most coast. The first two sides of original versions read like an album, perfect for a lazy Sunday rooftop BBQ with beers, bros and blunts, (although no doubt some of these gems will find their way into DJs' warm-up and boom-bap sets). Sides C & D elevate the juncture to dance floor level, with smooth and varied remixes from RNT stalwarts Luvless and DJ Vas, plus label newcomers thatmanmonkz and Junktion.

Out February 20th, the Akasha EP consists of two journeys into the vast human experiment; interactions both subtle and intimate, yet grand and profound. From the ashes of lost love to the redemption of a new journey, the LOP crew uses a palette of bold colors to paint these tales. Drawing upon imagery from the stars, tarot, symbology and their many adventures on road, they decode the mysterious exchanges and vibrations of the universe.

Akasha refers to the Akashic record, an etheric database of yore encompassing all human experience. When one accesses the record, they may see events with another's eyes throughout history. Turn up your speakers and ride through different dimensions of culture and experience. Explore the spectrum of sensation as Phill and Patrick shift between contrasting and fleeting moods.

Plavas Beach resident Closed Paradise has been a constant source for deep and ethereal midtempo house jams over the last few years. His most recent effort, the Praise EP, on FINA Records is no different. 

While the A-Side is occupied by the Ben La Desh-esque deep house tackle "Praise", our premiere comes from the B1 slot. "Demon Avenue" initiates with sirens and street car sounds before building in with a brooding, lush synth paired with looping vocals and a thumping bassline. Once the drums kick in, the influence is clear; Homework era programming is all over the percussion and arrangement. A sinister lead and filtered samples enter the fray at the climax of the track to really ice this beefy French House cake.

PREMIERE : Closed Paradise - Demon Avenue

Since releasing their now-iconic first track “Mopedbart" in 2013, the Oslo-based band has served up just enough new cuts to keep fans eagerly anticipating more material. The wait is finally over: Drømmen Drømmerne Drømmer will be out on Snorkel Records on October 13, 2018.
In addition to three previous releases, the album features eight new tracks, and will be released on limited double 12-inch vinyl.
