We are delighted to commence our journey curating Orbita, our online mix series dedicated to exploring sounds by the hand of a diverse bunch of talented international artists. 

For our first installment we are beyond excited to present to you a very special contribution, by our dear friend Polygonia. A tense buildup and strong atmosphere made to lure you into a percussive vortex that will spit you out into the depths of a dark and humid rainforest. Surrender yourself to a ritual sacrifice guided by Polygonia’s rythmical precision and sensibility.

Polygonia is a multitalented artist based in Munich, where she runs the formidable record label IO together with her crew. Her sound is driven by a mystic, deep and organic character enriched by her studies in various acoustic instruments. She has repeatedly demonstrated to be a force to be reckoned with through her impeccable body of work released on some of the finest labels around. Orbita 01 - Polygonia

Our podcast series continues, this month’s story is told by Adhémar. 

Having grown up in the French countryside, Clément is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works.
With a particular rigor for transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJ set, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all. Today’s experience is a voyage into Adhémar’s world, a world where music talks.

Technokunst - a Budapest-based collective of like-minded artists - is continuing its series of podcasts, showcasing some of the best talent of the multifaceted genre we call Techno.

We have arrived to the second podcast of 2022 in the form of a studio mix recorded by Whispering Signals label owner Daniel Danieli. Originally hailing from Belgium, the Aachen-based producer has been on our radar for a very long time. His releases have a peculiar haze, a rawness that seems to take notes from Rod Modell's bag of engineering tricks, while still maintaining a strong personal identity and of course - very high production quality. This studio mix is a perfect example of the vibe Dan is going for in his sets - deep, subtle, and whispering. Vanoni is a young DJ / Producer hailing from Patagonia, Argentina, currently based in Buenos Aires. Influenced by the most hypnotic and abstract sounds of Deep Techno, he started to develop his producer side in 2018, after years of DJing in his home town scene. Achieving a characterised base by long and reverberating pads, enveloping textures, minimal percussion and psychedelic synths. You’ll find his production on labels such as Danza Nativa, Ritualism, From a lost place, NFEREE, and Technologia Organica.

Danza Nativa Invites 014 - Plants Army Revolver (Live Acquario At Masada)

The sixth episode of our Herbarium series was recorded by the very talented Ina Kacz. It is composed of organic textures, intriguing grooves and tense harmonies - a great delight for mind and body. With this mix Ina features her connection to the plant 'Mimosa Pudica', also known as the sensitive or shy plant. She is fascintated by its elegant and fast movement when it protects itself in the way of closing down while being touched or during night time. Another specialty of this wonderful species is that it can even learn with time what kind of touches do no harm and which ones do. Ina can relate to this versatility and consciousness in her personality as an artist. Especially in this mix it is easy to recognize how precise and versatile she curated her selection and its interpretation. The atmosphere of the gentle and textural beginning evolves into energetic faster dancefloor oriented grooves, to come back to a very soothing soundscape. Truly like the opening and closing of the leaves, fitting to each moment.
