Heavens Tea - Pure Flute

Prana was recorded and improvised live in an underground former silo in the deep southern Utah desert over the winter solstice. The temperature outside was at about 10 degrees below zero, inside a giant wood stove burned away, and all around were about twenty or so sonic journeyers forming a meditative circle on the slate floor. 

The album contains vocals - but no English - rather the vocalizations you hear are more channeled sounds intended keep our language centers quiet and our hearts open. 

5 extended tracks - running time 48 minutes. 
This is a gapless playback continuous listening experience.

The practice of yoga is fueled and guided by the flow of prana-life energy. The latest record from Shamans Dream invites us to let go and lose ourselves in this infinite rhythm. In their first-time collaboration, Craig Kohland and electronic music producer Bluetech arrange a beautiful flowing soundscape that traces the progress of a 70-minute yoga session. Prana Pulse builds slowly, hits a groovy peak, and gently subsides. This album is also an amazing soundtrack for dancers, workout warriors, and anyone in "passionate" spirits!

Essie Jain is an English singer and songwriter, who has been performing and recording music for over two decades. Her songs have traveled far and wide out into the world and gently weaved themselves into the fabric of people’s lives, daily healing practices and stories. 

Essie often works alongside her husband, guitarist and long term collaborator Patrick Glynn, for both recordings and live performances. They live in Los Angeles with their daughter Opal.

Essie and Patrick are currently writing and recording an album of folk songs together, due for release in early 2025
