Track four of the EP The Elemental Concoction. This is probably the bravest track as it doesn't have any drum beat, nothing but the swaying rhythm from the roar of an open fire that morphs and pounds. It sounds like a harsh roasting and it shoots out sparks well. All together it has it's own beat with the timing of a flickering flame.

Like staring at a fire, I find this one quite hypnotising.

The good recordings were from the open fire and getting cracking and crackling sounds from burning leaves and twigs in the yard. I tried filling balloons with lighter gas and putting a flame to them, they were visual effective, but too much like the air sounds I had recorded.

The nerve and membrane of sister species is not dissimilar: a tuft of hair on the hind leg, eyes black and immaculate. A vague body: veins soiled, the head slightly enlarging, mouth open wide. The vulva of woman and spider serve the same purpose.

This one is dedicated to him, us and his longstanding love for honey and peanut butter sandwiches (which he used to keep under his pillow as a child). Written, sung and produced by Twitchy.
