This track, titled as a pun that King Crimson's fans could like or maybe dislike, has been built using a single phrase of a sound source coming from a living being. Everything generates and revolves from and around it. at 3:00, that building block is clearly revealed (although some of its constitutive elements have appeared scattered here and there before, and the seed will reappear several times until the end).
This has been created motivated by the Disquiet Junto Project 0504: Transform Formula
The Assignment: Take a sound, change it, and contrast that with the original.

Licenciada en Artes Visuales especializada en Arte Sonoro en la Universidad de Barcelona. Vinculada al arte desde la niñez, comenzando por el ballet, la improvisación, la arquitectura, las artes plásticas, la performance, la fotografía, el videoarte y la instalación sonoro-visual.

Artista multidisciplinar que se dedica al estudio del paisaje sonoro y la ecología acústica, la composición electroacústica-experimental, los sistemas multifocales y actualmente, a la investigación de la simultaneidad de los procesos entre espacio, movimiento, sonido e imagen mediante la tecnología y el cuerpo. Sus obras han sido presentadas en conciertos, programas de radio, festivales, museos, ferias de arte y música en España, Argentina, Brasil, Chile, México, Estados Unidos, Canadá, Alemania, Bélgica, Francia, Holanda y China, entre otros países.

Estefanía ha sido invitada a publicar trabajos teóricos sobre el pensamiento crítico entre arte, ciencia y ecología. En Barcelona, ha obtenido residencias para la creación y composición experimental en importantes festivales como Störung y Mutek Barcelona, así como una residencia de larga estancia, en la Fundación Phonos, para la exploración electroacústica y multifocal. Ha sido colaboradora activa de la misma institución como curadora de conciertos electroacústicos “Las mujeres en Phonos” y, entre el 2012 al 2019, ha sido miembro del Laboratorio de Arte Sonoro de la Universidad de Barcelona, como investigadora de arte y productora audiovisual.

Hoy reside en Francia, donde trabaja como compositora y continúa su investigación sobre la simultaneidad de los procesos mediante la tecnología y el cuerpo.

Paisaje Sonoro de un sector del Barrio Sant Marti: Josep Pla entre Pere IV y Carrer Marroc-. Ciudad de Barcelona.

Los ruidos industriales se entremezclan y se funden entre ellos. Las voces humanas se debilitan, solo aparecen esos sonidos invisibles pero constantes diariamente. Cambian los niveles audibles del viento, lluvia, entre otros, pero los ruidos mecánicos de la construcción y del desarrollo hacia el futuro próximo no cesan.

Los ruidos del futuro son historias del pasado, son los sueños de algunos, la marginalidad en otros. La adaptación en los animales y seres vivos. Ausencia presente. Presente ausencia. Varcíos y llenos.

Industrial noises intermingle and blend into each other. Human voices weaken, only those invisible but constant sounds appear daily. The audible levels of wind, rain, etc. change, but the mechanical noises of construction and development towards the near future do not stop.

The noises of the future are stories of the past, they are the dreams of some, the marginality of others. Adaptation in animals and living beings. Present absence. Present absence. Empty and full spaces.
