The whole "Cryptograms" journey ends with the inauguration of the new member of Eternia brotherhood. "Beings of the Wicked Ocean" is a genius track, sticking to the 170BPM mentality, complete with an industrial background one couldn't resist. So, all yer devout dark-heads, would you show some love for Poland-based Erkiu and his sublime vision of future dnb.

KUMP is delighted to release the first EP by HLM38 (ou HLM38’s first EP), the naughty half of duo Ricco and member of the Notte Brigante crew from Lyon. The three original tracks, a mix of ethnic looting and industrial racket in slow motion, feel like steel wrapped in Turkish delight. Front de cadeaux’s take on “Illicite Cong” is reminiscent of an erotic rave flavoured with Oriental spices. Last but not least, Kris Baha slices up “Exit” like a tablier de sapeur (local Lyonnais dish) served on a julienne of  syncopated samples and noisy beats.

The world certainly lacks slowcore and shoegaze DJs, and here I come to the rescue. Yes, you can call me one of them chosen few and this mixtape just proves it. Recorded live during my visit to the courageous Lithuanian independent radio station Palanga Street Radio – right on the year’s coldest moments. If you listen closely, you might find yourself in a small American town about to face those mid-winter snow blizzards. Or you might feel the anxious moment of great anticipation when the year’s last snowstorm just about to hit. This gapless compilation contains music brought to you by the finest slowcore and shoegaze bands in recent thirty years. No wonder why this is a tough cookie to crumble. If you manage to listen to it throughout, beginning-to-end: my congrats, you’re made of steel.
