Unconventional Spaces is a melodic and timeless work, perfect for a magic sunrise closing set. Luca delivers a

heavier rework, creating a special atmosphere with powerful chords that drift back and forth.

Just This is characterised by a raw triple stab, a vocal laid down by the guys themselves and an emotional and

mysterious break. Closing the EP is Span, which is composed of bouncing tom samples, straight hats and a

moogy bass that develops throughout the arrangement, a perfect peaktime number and strong finalé.

We Are The Brave is now a label firmly on the electronic music map, with the huge success of its debut single “We Do What We Want” from Alan himself, they have since followed up with a selection of dance floor beasts from Boxia, Darius Syrossian, Skober and a special remix from the late Trevino.

The labels 10th release comes straight out of Scotland, as Gary Beck makes his debut on WATB with “Just One More”. Gary is no stranger when it comes to producing true underground techno, but the title track on this release is also accompanied with a standout vocal which some might not expect.

Finishing off the package “Round My Place” has a mechanical vibe to it, powering some dark eerie synth horns with a distinctive, clever hook in classic Gary Beck style. Alan has been hammering this one out in his sets since April, safe to say its been a hit!

The tenth instalment of Clergy sees host to the second collaborative project between lifelong friends Jorden Hodgetts and Sam Coates (Cleric and Setaoc Mass) split over two discs. The first disc presents three driving rhythmic orientated tools, 'Odyssey', 'Isolation' and 'Centre of the Cyclone', which are sculpted flawlessly for the dance-floor. You can see a continuous theme surrounding the release, the exploration of escapism is perfectly introduced by a foreboding message courtesy of John C. Lily: "Be in the present..."

The second disc progresses as a means to go on, with the sonic emphasis moving more towards tone and melody. The sweeping pads of 'Madame Butterfly' and the sinister strings of 'subconscious life' give the songs a feeling of satisfying unease, while the electro-twinged melody of '188' evokes emotion from start to finish. Last on the EP is 'Exploration X', an ambient voyage which beautifully rounds off the record. CRG010 will also end the second series of releases on Clergy, starting a new look and bringing in a new photographer for the next series.

Pursuit is making those airmiles on our third EP. Flying in hot, straight from Cordoba Argentina is our friend Lucas Aquilera with a filthy and brooding track that has been a staplehold in the sets of label boss Rob Hes. 

On remixing duties, Rob is shaking things up with a big and dirty kick and combines that with all the great elements of the original. Additionally we have veteran Steve Mulder, who delivers a hands-in-air monster with his version of the remix. 

Slowing things down and dragging us into deeper, murkier and groovier waters is the talented duo Duss from Poland. Tipped as the biggest talent of 2018 by Rob Hes, they again deliver exactly that Pursuit sound.

Berlin producer Kevin De Vries has emerged as one of the capital's most hotly tipped newcomers since his track ”Eternity" appeared on Adam Beyer's Drumcode label in 2016. Besides such luminaries as Beyer, Sven Väth and Richie Hawtin, Tale Of Us have also recognised his talent, paying De Vries the compliment of featuring his track "Path To Immortality" on their Fabric 97 CD this year. If that’s not enough they’ve also given Kevin a place of honour on their very own Afterlife label compilation in the form of "Magoa".

Which brings us to the matter in hand. De Vries' debut for Cocoon is characterised by significantly higher levels of impulsive energy without ever losing sight of his instinctive feel for harmony. "Meraki" speckles shimmering harmonic textures over the structured bass end, reminiscent of sunlight reflecting on turbulent seas - absolutely perfect for dancing through long summer nights!
