It takes many a lifetime to understand that one of the major keys to understanding music is a keen perception of equilibrium. Sacramento’s Prime Balance has a firm belief in this philosophy and it has helped color his musical world in dark shades of funk, and chunky broken beats.
His roots in dance music stretch back much further than his years behind the decks, starting in 2003. Even though he grew up in a small community deep in Northern California, with little access to anything outside of the mainstream, dance music still found its way into his heart via his older brother. With an appreciation for the frentic and uplifting energy of the early aughts UK rave sound as his sonic framework, he initially latched on to trance and UK Hard House. However, over time, while he never lost his love for those bangin’ beats he transitioned into a more groove centered shadowy blend of gritty bassline fueled breaks.
Alec is a pillar of Northern California’s dance music community. He has spent nearly two decades traveling up and down the coast injecting dancefloors with his precision mixing and unmatched energy. He’s long been a mainstay in Nor Cal’s storied festival circuit with appearances on the stages of events like Stilldream and Serenity Gathering. Coupled with his work as part of the Rogue Alliance Crew, he’s proven that he is not only a talented performer but also someone who cares deeply about keeping the ethos of the rave movement alive by building relationships on the dancefloor through movement and bass.

DJ Denise is a veteran staple of the San Francisco electronic music community, having firmly planted her roots in 1998 under the guise DJ D. Her meteoric rise led her to performing across the country from Miami to Hawaii and everywhere in between. She is most known for her precise & effortless beatmatching skills combined with nonchalant fader flicks and mixer tricks.

Denise has performed at almost every venue in the San Francisco Bay Area and also many festivals. In 2013, Denise won the Discovery Project and performed at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. 

Between 2006-2013, Denise launched her music production career while concurrently running her record label, Mizumo Music. The label released over 180 EPs from local & international artists while her original songs & remixes were released on labels based out of Europe, Australia, North & South America and South Africa. Her music has been licensed to various compilations including UK powerhouse Ministry of Sound, LovEvolution (San Francisco's homage to the infamous Love Parade), as well as on DJ mix compilations by Simply Jeff and DJ Shortee. Most recently you can find Denise’s music on InStereo Recordings, DJ Dan’s record label.

When she's not DJing or tinkering in the studio, you can find Denise working as an ER Nurse in Oakland, California. It is evident that her mission in life is to save lives, both on and off the dance floor.
