The first almost 5 hours of my set at what might be my favourite club in Mexico, MN ROY. Sorry, the last 90 minutes were reserved for the dancers (plus my recorder screwed up). One pee break, a lot of mezcal, friendly faces, about a million pieces of wood, and some nice D&B sound. Maybe I played a few too many favourites, but that's what happens when you play drunk and long for an appreciative crowd in a warm room. Graçias a todos, graçias a la vida.

Taking us on a journey through psychedelic tribal disco that doesn't sound out of place in a steamy rain forest or on desert plains, their unique style has led them to curate the Dogon Village area at Festival No.6; where the thick tangled woods and trippy jungle sounds add to the ethereal atmosphere they create. Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Ein Hauch von Istanbul schwirrt durch den Raum: Oceanvs Orientalis (@safakozkutle) führt uns durch seine Heimat, in der Tradition und Neuzeit so nahtlos verwoben sind, dass uns Eindruck und Erinnerung trügerisch verschwimmen.

Resident of Seattle Washington, David Brian Pezzner, has been building on a solid career in the industry for some time now. After producing music as a duo he decided to go solo, and in 2010 he released his debut album on Freerange Records. He’s since had releases and remixes on labels such as Systematic Recordings, 8 Bit and Crosstown Rebels offshoot label RebelLION, receiving a massive response.

Pezzner is next up on the Visionquest imprint to deliver a stunning four track musical soundscape in the form of ‘The Island Fantastic EP’. On his upcoming release Pezzner had this to say:
