Absolutely cracking guest mix @mascottmusik.  Missed your chat in the first hour Tom!

So, umm… I must confess I totally forgot to actually hit record when this mix went out live, so the first hour is a faithful recreation of the hour I did on NDC Radio. The rumours are true - I’m an idiot! But this fortnight’s guest mix was so good that I didn’t want to leave the guys hanging, so recording it again was the only option... and I probably did a better job of it second time around… plus there’s none of me talking which can only be a good thing. In the first hour you’ll hear sounds from Charly Angelz, Hotmood & Ezirk, Michael Gray, Evil Smarty, Peter Shalvoy, Opolopo, plus a bit of a work in progress from me and some olden but golden stuff. 

Then hour 2 is all about Mascott, two DJs, producers and top dudes from Manchester. These guys have been killing it recently with DJ sets all over, some absolutely smashing productions showcasing their unique blend of house, disco and acid, not to mention a successful mix and event series Good Custard. Matt & Scott were a natural choice for the show, and their mix doesn’t disappoint - it’s a high energy and thoroughly fun hour of tunes on the large side, up to the minute yet retro tinged in places, and I absolutely love it.

London-based DJ, producer and radio host Even Funkier weaves together Disco, Funk, House, Soul, Boogie, Jazz, Hip Hop and Global delights to create something fresh, irresistibly funky and downright groovy. He plays tunes from across the decades, genres and BPMs, mixing up hidden gems with tried and tested favourites, with a focus on sweet, sweet Disco music brought right up to date for modern dancefloors.
