I can’t believe that this is the first time I’ve edited Our Li, but here we are. I’ve taken his 1986 guilty pleasure Dancing On The Ceiling and given it a light dusting of Funkier magic. Not done loads to it - slight beefing, some chopping up to bring in a few less familiar bits from the extended cut… and unusually for me I’ve brought the BPM down a bit! 

The track itself is about 6 mins long - I had to add some extra stuff on the end to avoid it getting taken down by Soundcloud. The download is just the track though!

More free 80s goodness brought up to date for you - this time I’ve taken a track by the Whispers called Imagination and applied the Funkier treatment. Title track of their 10th album, it's an absolute banger that's been a weapon in my crate for years and felt ripe for a bit of beefing up. It’s already a great tune that exudes early 80s boogie funk niceness so I haven’t done loads to it, just the usual crisping up of percussion and making it throb along nicely. The 7th in my series of 80s remixes is Superfly Guy by S-Express. It was released in 1988 and reached number 5 in the UK charts. I’ve always wanted to make a remix of this and bring out that dirty synth baseline a bit more. I hope you like it :-)
