Next up in my monthly free edit series is an updated version of a forgotten gem - Let's Go by Bileo, B-side to the underground classic You Can Win. This one didn't need a whole lot doing to it but I rearranged things a little, gave it a spruce up and emphasised that lovely loopy bass. It shouldn't come as any surprise that you can have this one on me - just hit the button and enjoy!

This time I’ve reworked Night People by the fabulous Etta James, from her 1980 album Changes. It's sped up with a crispy new drumbeat, some little breakdowns... and of course I've given it a bit of spruce up to bring out that lovely bass and let those sassy vocals shine. All yours for nada - enjoy!

This month’s freebie comes from none other than Curtis Mayfield. Of course he’s got a load of great tunes, and one of those is Tripping Out, which is all soulful vocals and soaring strings - classic Mayfield. My version has ended up as a sort of broken beat thing - I’ve sped things up a notch (but not too much), let that lovely bass do its thing and made it a bit more friendly for the mellower mixed DJ set. As is customary, I’m not asking for anything for this, other than that you download, share and perhaps enjoy!

it's free download time again! This time I've made a version of Glad You Could Make it by Archie Bell and the Drells. I've applied my usual treatment, sharpening things up, notching up the tempo and switching a few bits around. This one's a bit of a bop, and of course it's yours totally free of charge.
