That metallic percussion and the 'backward' synth are a combination reminding me of some Legendary Pink Dots track, which is (associatively) a good thing in my ears. This effect of the percussion creating an openness reminding us of physical spaces, while the synths are abstract, otherworldly, with the combination ultimately being very inspiring, and a great listen!
