Destro es uno de los djs pioneros del Techno y Hardtechno en América latina, en cerca de 25 años de carrera ha recorrido escenarios en 16 países de América y Europa entre ellos: Alemania, España, Inglaterra, Finlandia, Austria, Portugal, Francia, Italia, Holanda, Estados Unidos, Andorra, Brasil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile y su natal Venezuela, actuando junto algunos de los nombres más importantes de la escena Techno mundial y recibiendo numerosos premios y reconocimientos por su trabajo, activismo y trayectoria.

Su distintiva técnica y versatilidad le permite desenvolverse tanto en digital como en vinilo en una amplitud de sonidos como el Techno, Hard Techno, Hardgroove, Acid Techno y Breakbeats. Como productor ha editado su música en vinilo y digital en sellos de importancia y ha realizado colaboraciones con destacados artistas.

Destro actualmente es socio, DJ residente y Director de Bookings en Octava Club, el club de música electrónica más importante de Colombia, rankeado los últimos 6 años en el TOP100 de DJMAG donde dirige, junto a Paula Velez, Altered State, evento enfocado en el sonido Techno.

Ha sido embajador de marcas como: Sennheiser, Movimiento Ilícito y Ron Carúpano. Actualmente es el dj oficial de las marcas Allen & Heath y de Novation para Colombia, país en el que reside actualmente, realizando habitualmente talleres, Masterclasses y actividades promocionales para estas prestigiosas marcas.

Como emprendedor fundó DJ College, la escuela más importante de djs de Venezuela y DJ Profile TV uno de los más destacados medios de comunicación digital de América Latina, con el que recibió numerosos premios y reconocimientos y participó en destacados programas de aceleración del ecosistema de startups de la región como Wayra y Start-UP Chile.

Fabrizio Barberis, widely recognized by his stage name DJ Barbers, is a renowned Italian DJ and producer, born in 1986 in Sardinia, Italy. His journey in the world of electronic music began at a young age, and he swiftly made his mark in the industry, performing at various events and venues across Italy and abroad. DJ Barbers' passion for electronic music led him to perform at iconic events like Street Parade in Bologna and Florence, as well as in the vibrant music scene of London. In 2005, he joined the ranks of BasstationCrew, a prominent organization known for hosting Techno and HardTechno events on the island of Sardinia, where he hails from. This affiliation opened doors for him to support globally acclaimed artists and even collaborate with some of them. He started releasing a multitude of successful tracks on esteemed record labels such as Audiocode, Cause Records, Mental Torments, Cannibal Society, TechnoPride, G-Not, and more.
Since then, DJ Barbers has continued to refine his skills as both a DJ and producer, earning a well-deserved reputation as a leading figure in the worldwide HardTechno and Schranz scenes. His discography boasts tracks released on over 50 labels, including some on vinyl.
What sets DJ Barbers apart is his unique musical style, characterized by a fusion of techno, hard techno, industrial, breaks, and core elements, with occasional forays into hip-hop influences. This distinctive sound has garnered the admiration of electronic music enthusiasts not only in Italy but also worldwide. In 2008, DJ Barbers made his debut at significant festivals and events across Europe, including Stay Up Festival, Montagood, Rurh In Love, Nature One, Maximal Festival, Hardpark Festival, Sinister Festival, ADE, High Five Festival, Family Groove Events, and Hardfactory Festival, among many others. In 2012, he embarked on his first tours in South America, performing in countries such as Brazil, Venezuela, and Colombia. His presence was felt at renowned festivals like Radikal Styles, Rave Masters, and Atzend Records Festival, among others. In 2009, DJ Barbers initiated the Hardstation Crew, a project that brought together a collective of DJ and producer friends. For years, he has been instrumental in keeping the HardTechno scene vibrant in his home country, organizing various events and inviting internationally acclaimed artists to perform. Today, DJ Barbers currently own several record labels, including Hardstation Records, Interception Rec., and Brs Tracks. His contributions to the international HardTechno scene have earned him a place among the ranks of esteemed booking agencies such as Trivial Bookings, CoreConcepts, and Criminal, and he has also formed partnerships with Cubbo. DJ Barbers' journey is a testament to his talent, perseverance, passion, and dedication to the underground music scene for nearly two decades.
