Abstract:
The world today is in a bad way. Humanity forgot how to raise children to live well on Earth. Dr. Narvaez discusses holistic education, which contrasts with typical schooling practiced today. She describes what a nested, healing classroom does, and what schooling that promotes ecological literacy and ethical development can look like. To change from trauma-inducing ways, child raising and schooling must return to fostering ecological wisdom, wellbeing and inclusive ethics.
