The duo from Bournemouth have risen through the ranks of drum n bass and its Goldie's seminal label Metalheadz that has been chosen as home. The debut Ulterior Motive album has been handed in to Goldie & Metalheadz and everyone is very excited about it- not least Goldie himself, judging by this tweet to Ulterior Motive: "OMG! SCAR are back on Headz with their most accomplished EP to date. 
The release kicks off with 'Caged', a subbed out banger with skipping drums and rave stabs and mid range accents. Confident and bashy, it's sure to be a big tune. 
Track two is 'Free Fall' w/ Artificial Intelligence where both production duos team up on a stepping track with screwface bass. The mood is lightened by the vocal refrain gliding over the top bringing another element to the track. 
'Your Move' follows, a soulful jungle track , it’s all about the light pads Vs the rough drums. 'Fall From Grace' takes the jungle aesthetic and pushes it further with clever edits and big basslines. 'Return To Swerve' says exactly what it does on the tin- takes it back to the days where the soulful mid weeker reigned supreme, a great end to a great EP.

dBridge's journey within electronic music has seen him at the front and center of electronic music culture and then by design, as the seasons change, he has retreated to his own world to work on his next statement. 
A Love I Can't Explain is the sound of dBridge making music for himself. As a man he finds himself in a new phase of his life- in love, married and a father that is no longer concerned with previous constraints and this has led to a new freedom in creation. Between ‘Truth is Stranger than Fiction’ and ‘Annihilation of Inhibition’ there’s a range of diversity which Eusebeia shows his audience throughout the journey of ‘Breakdown of Illusion’. The carefully sequenced drums and weaving bassline of ‘Truth is Stranger Than Fiction’ is the perfect way to begin the EP, whilst tracks like ‘Charade’ and title- track ‘Breakdown of Illusion’ continues Eusebeia’s high-reaching trend. Coming along next, both ‘No Stone Unturned’ and ‘Camouflage; pay homage to the roots which have built Eusebeia as a multi faceted artist and demonstrate why there’s so much heat around the newly discovered artist.
