"Photography has become the creative outlet I needed in my life, it has no expectations of me, as any hobby rightly should. I'm still in my infancy with it and I have a few different cameras but the one I'm drawn to the most is the instant photo format. Its permanence appeals to me, there's no going back, no adding unnecessary filters and repeating until you get it right. It captures a moment; warts and all.
I'm lucky as I'm in a unique position to be able to get closer than most to my fellow music makers and listeners and point a lens into their world. Over the years I've amassed a fair amount of pictures and I often take a moment to enjoy the memories they conjure up. It dawned on me that what had started out as a photographic collection of the people I met whilst travelling through music was forming a unified image of the Bass music scene, images of the people around me who had helped shape it and are a part of its lineage. This book is a small collection of some of those people, friends and more importantly; family."

Bought a set of 1210's back in 96' when i started Dj in at small local events as part of collective called the FARM YARDEEZ, Spinnin drum and bass. By 98' i decided to get more creative, and with some sound advise from a dear friend (cheerz Luke) on what to get, forked out for an atari based studio. I've grown with the technology ever since. still got a few bits of hardwear about the place i cant bear to part with, but it's mostly all inside the puter now. i love making sick noises, it all stems from the rave days, then drum and bass filled the gap which was left. After that the drum and bass production in my eyes got too loud and not dark enough. From 2001 on i studied the music which was the biggest influence in most of my favourite tunes. FUNK. Then just when i though i was getting to old in the tooth for new music (it sounded so borring, nothing new excited me in the least. Last summer hosepipeban played a set in a mates fields party that was to change all that. monsoon and I, by sKream , the loefah remixes, and that was it. i was off. nearly 4 years and 800 tunes later, its my staple diet.. DMZ at mass was the nail in the coffin. i've been ravin on and off since 89, and DMZ was the best thing ive been to since some of the free parties back in 91. i'm working hard promoting Dubstep locally, I Host a weekly internet radio show on www.cyba.fm. i Dj on an off on www.piraterevival.co.uk along site friends from way back in the day sometimes mixin oldschool hardcore euro rave 89-91 styles aswell as tryin to convert the oldschool heads into dubstep..
