Invadhertz hail from a destination that specialises in the same dark and heavy music as they themselves do; Italy is celebrated for its moody club spaces and hard-hitting sounds and this is where Invadhertz drew their inspiration from. Now finding their place within the London scene, they’ve been building their place within its trenches and from here they’re about to unleash yet another groundbreaking EP. Having already released on the likes of Addictive Behaviour, Flexout Audio and Context Audio, they return to the back catalogue of Delta9 Recordings for four tracks of chaotic sonics. Bringing a host of collaborative artists into the fray, their next EP on Delta9 Recordings pedestals the outfits’ expert talents as well as proves why the label is a respected figure within the independent drum & bass market.

‘Pandemonium’ is your enticement, with patches of rolling, ominous percussion and a painstakingly engineered sound design. It steps through the mix with each meticulously constructed sixteen bar, becoming more and more overwhelming as it breaks and you’re driven through every intricate layer. Flipz MC joins Invadhertz for ‘In the Area’, with its stepping drum rhythms and gritty vocal overtures. You’re taken directly into the track’s more dancefloor edge; it’s a sure-fire way to get any party vibe going whilst also still adhering to the inherently underground vibe which Invadhertz have at their disposal.

Qua Rush is the next artists who jumps on board with Invadhertz for ‘Damn’, a brooding record which becomes more intense as it plays out, with each punching beat and weighty sub roll. Both Qua Rush and Invadhertz know how to create a track which is thumping, tech-filled and packs a punch with every layer. ‘Anxiety VIP’ twists the original on its head; whilst it’s already a well-loved tune, Invadhertz adds a welcome dimension to its predecessor, one which flexes its pulsing detail.
