Appropriating their name from the first culture of the old world to explore the new, Phoenecia, aka Josh Kay & Romulo Del Castillo, was inaugurated in Miami in 1997. The pair had previously recorded under the Soul Oddity moniker, releasing an album & a series of 12-inch singles for the US major label Astralwerks. In late 1996 they founded Schematic Music Company, a record label which would go on to carve a distinct niche in the landscape of modern music by debuting releases from some of the most notable & influential electronic musicians of the twentieth century. In 2001 they released a full-length album entitled Brownout, which in the words of the late Tim Haslett was "Phoenecia's magnum opus, the place where the ideas found in the preceding records are allowed to come to full fruition... the compositions are cinematic, in the respect that the tracks are heavily influenced by the sound design of film, as opposed to the score". This album marked a decisive break from Phoenecia's rhythmic past & set the trajectory for the sound they would continue to develop over the next decade in their most recent albums Echelon Mall & Demissions.

Elodin merges the virtues of Uri Dijk and Luuk Bos into the realm of electronic music. In the very nature of the project lies an exciting sense of vision and experiment. As former synth player of the band Textures, Uri is shaped by a journey through the global metal scene. 
Previously synonymous to Lifecycle, Luuk comes from an equally noisy background steeped in bass music. Elodin is the synergistic brainchild that primes them to break free from the conventions of these contexts and opens up an untraveled musical pathway. In this space, 
Elodin tells a story of instinctive production, meticulous sound design, solid basslines and 
rhapsodic synths – keenly dubbed into adventure-bass.

Plaid (pronounced \ˈplad\) are the London based electronic music duo Andy Turner & Ed Handley. They are two of the founding members of The Black Dog, releasing their first EP in 1989 and signing to Warp Records in 1991. They have used many other pseudonyms including; Atypic, Repeats and Balil, but have focusing on Plaid since 1995. They have released 11 studio albums as Plaid, from 1991's 'Mbuki Mvuki', to 2022's 'Feorm Falorx'. 

Various sources claim they took their name “Plaid” from the Welsh word for “Party”.

After travelling around the globe, Yorrick rediscovered a love for the Dutch language. Speurtocht roughly translates to scavenge hunt, 
but that doesn't quite capture the mystery and the sense of losing one-self on such a journey that the Dutch definition holds.
Music itself feels like this for him; an endless adventure with many different paths which ought to be explored.
Yorrick has been producing for over 13 years and slowly found his way into experimental dance music. 
He is moved by lush atmospheres, deep basses and grooves to shake your hips to.
Speurtocht is his outlet where he combines these three and turns them into different little adventures. 
His first EP 'Trails of Dance' is the start of his own 'speurtocht'.
